And I've already explained that I usually tell "I'm catching up soon" when (1) I've been away from the game for a while (2) I've been away for a shorter time (a day or so) but the game is in a phase in which it's possible that much relevant content has arrived while I've been away. In this case the (2) happened.

However, you're right in one thing: I don't think Day1 bussing is a good strategy,

especially

if it leads to a scumlynch.
In general and in short: a successful Day1 bussing can indeed give a scum a lot of "town credits" but later events – eg. an investigation on the scum, a silly mistake made by him, mass-claiming, a confirmed town's reads, etc. – may make all that credit disappear into nothingness. And if so, the fact that the scum faction has 1 less people alive since Day1 can be detrimental for the scums. Maybe I'm wrong about this; though, my IRL Mafia experiences make me think this thing so.

I am not misrepping your arguments. This:

is closer to misrepresentation. I think if you were town, you would have actually read what I said when you posted that you would have understood why I voted you.

I am saying you created a false dilemma at the beginning of D3 to make a push on Anti. I said at the beginning of the day that I think that a towntrackerchaos would have taken into consideration that Anen not doing anything does not clear him of scum. Is it possible that you just did not know mechanics? Maybe. However, I think given the thought behind your opening push on Anti makes the likelihood of you being scum and faking results higher. I think the timing of your vote D1 for reinoe over Chevre makes you likely to be a scumbuddy of Chevre. When you do end up voting Chevre, it is so reluctant and comes across as scum not wanting to bus but does anyway.
