I'm pretty sure we've given titles before to people who asked for them in an oblivious way before(I think we actually removed someone's Mafia Scum that way too), so I'm pretty fine with MS's titles. I like

for the record, I still think Orange Static or Orange in Sharp Contrast are the best options.
The situation is kind of funny not because he asked for a title, there have been dozens of people who have done that and we usually don't do anything about that. It's that he asked for a title and it was so specific and weird: The Blue Blur. Which is kind of funny on its own, but funnier still when reversed and yet makes almost as much sense.

I'd argue that we shouldn't give a title because someone asked for one on principle. If he gets a title other than Townsperson/Mafia Scum/Goon, it will trigger a wave of copycats all hoping for their own title.

what the likelihood that as a group we actually give someone a title they want if they try the same thing? we're a mob. we don't exactly work on precedent. I'd rather give titles that amuse us as a community, not use it as some sort of greater justice thing.

Not really. It would kind of lose its uniqueness after this. Sonic derped hard in not understanding how titles work which is funny.
If we are going with the Orange business, I prefer Orange in Sharp Contrast.
