Just realized that the virgo slot is not occupied by a pre-/in. Do you intend to effectively extend your number of pre-/in's by rejecting everyone who hasn't "expressed interest"? I understand rejecting people based on sign if that slot is actually taken, but applying this to unfilled slots just because someone has expressed interest is dodgy, imo. And certainly not gameplay motivated.
I do, yes. I think it's only fair if they have shown interest in the game prior to when it was in sign-ups (and prior to yourself or gameplay ... and, although I'm sure you're aware, I do want it said that this is by no means personal, if the shoe were on the other foot I'd do the same for both of y'all).
If the List Mod strikes me down, then I will relent as I do not want to do anything untoward, but I'd rather be seen as bending the rules for players that sought me/this theme out before the game was in sign-ups then just cross my fingers and hope I can fill all of my slots given the restricted nature of the theme I have chosen to run.
In other words, I'm not doing this just for the sake of exerting power. I advertised this game for a week or so, and I want to show my appreciation to those that were on board with it early. Because if I hadn't heard from them, I wouldn't have known whether or not I could even attempt to run this game this way.
Can you clarify for me what the difference between a pre-in and "showing interest before" is? What rights does Peregrine, for example, have that Iecerint does not?
I see no functional difference.
