Anyway, DGB could go either way at this point; her posts have been like they always are at the beginning of the game. Her role is more interesting. She seemed to want to be neighborized Day 1, and has used both un-loverizer and un-neighborizer to refer to her role. Do you feel strongly about her?

Not really. But my point is this:

1) You have asked DGB not to use the Un-Loverizer.
2) You wanted to lynch Hostile Intent.
3) If DGB doesn't use the Unlover, a vote for farside (who had more votes than HI) would also secure an HI lynch.
(In fact, that very scenario was juls' stated intention behind using her role in the way that she did)
4) Your phrasing about DGB using her role ("if need be") made it sound like you considered DGB to act in line with what the town needed.
5) As such, you would have ample warning to put your vote on HI before the unloverization happened since TownDGB would only use her role "if need be."

The long and short of it is that I believe that the only reason TownYou would have for not voting farside would be if you thought DGB was scum with HI, and that she would use her role surreptitiously to prevent the double lynch from going through. However, I have not seen any indication that you think DGB is scum (even to the point where I have point blank asked you and you have not replied to that effect).

The way in which you have acted is suspicious to me because it looks like you placed a vote that carried significantly less commitment in terms of its likelihood of being on the "lynching wagon", and in fact contributed far less weight to getting your suspect lynched than the same vote for farside would have carried.

If so, she could sever the cord at anytime and the person with the most votes is lynched.

Yes, since it is confirmable. It would be pretty dumb to claim something like that if she didn't have it.

I agree that ScumDGB could do that - but the point of my questions to Aegor was that he doesn't seem to consider DGB scum so that scenario is not likely at the forefront of his concerns.

Yeah, at the time I stated it, especially given that some (e.g. farside) were calling for immediate un-loverization. Why rush anything? My subsequent statements made it clear that I did not mean that DGB should never use her ability.

I remain unconvinced. "Subsequent statements" does not fly for me I'm afraid. It was not until yesterday (Post #720) that you made that statement, almost a week and 250 posts after you initially said you did not want DGB to use her ability. I would also suggest that "if need be" still implies that you do not think DGB's default attitude should be to use it - rather than it should only be used if requested (which you have yet to do). As such, your play has not made me inclined to see you as someone who is interested in the Unloverization (hence my suspicions centred on your voting decision continuing beyond #720).

Let's be candid: Do you think DGB should use her ability prior to the lynch?
