Of the current wagons, UT seems very town to me. I can see either of Juls/Aegon being scum - the players on Aegon's wagon seem more towny in general however (UT being the only towny player on the Juls wagon). Konowa I don't really have a read on at the moment, so thats something I need to rectify.

um, I would argue that me and/or farside are the "hard counters" to Juls, although the extent of the votes on me have been entirely without reasons so that assumption is more based on wagon comp than anything else

Random thought but seeing how scum have daytalk, if the lovers thing was indeed the scum's method of getting kills and Juls was scum then surely one of her scumbuddies would have told her not to reveal her role.

pedit - I can't speak for your site presence elsewhere but if you were comitted to the town wincon you would still be posting frequently in order to scumhunt so the two possibilities are that you are apathetic town or coasting scum.

pedit II - that sentence hurts my eyes. Thats a hard question to answer as this is going to sound incredibly wishy washy but he hasn't done anything I would consider scummy and his posts seem to come from a town perspective. There are a couple of posts like 793 which I find opportunistic but overall the slot feels very town compared to other isos such as Juls/Aegor/HI

I think trying to shoehorn a player's activity as part of a read is lazy to be honest. That would be like me saying "well the Bulge replaced out so he must be unengaged scum!" Which is what you are essentially saying by "Bone is coasting", because we can either argue that the context is because of in-game factors or out of game factors....either way it's a lazy thing to say. I equate laziness with scum.

Like, while you recapped the game in your catch-up posts, I don't feel like I know any of your opinions or conclusions from those posts. A recap is understandable, you're experiencing the game for the first time. What isn't understandable to me is why you don't really have anything from yourself to offer.

Coming into d2 and ABR's justification for targeting TBone seems pretty poor. It stops us from being able to lynch a scummy player and his point about choosing him because he wouldn't be targeted is kinda null as if scum target somebody they are going to be town, so providing ABR is town we would be losing a townie either way.

Okay words and all, what's your conclusion based on this train of thought?

I want to go back to this for a second, but if ABR is scum and truthfully has the role he has, why does it make sense from a scum perspective to essentially save me from a lynch for a day? Arguably without his claim people might be pushing my lynch otherwise.

So I'm lazy for picking up on the fact you were coasting? Of course coasting isn't always a scummy thing (or even a case of being lazy) but on the whole it tends to be more scummy than not, particuarly so in this case given the timing of it.

Sorry if you were expecting more from my catch up, I have given my own thoughts on events but equally I have been playing this for 3 hours, not 3 weeks like the rest of you. Hopefully after my brain has had time to mull things over I will be able to give you something more insightful

pedit - that's quite wifomy but potentially a number of reasons - you could both be scum and he wants to keep you alive, he could be doing it to make his claim more believeable, he might want to keep you around. He may well not even be scum, that was just my initial reaction to it.

I think you are missing the point. I am well aware the game has just started for you (and I pointed that out), despite that I was still looking for your initial reactions. If you're scum I don't want you to have time to think about things, posts are much less honest that way.

Juls - which parts of your role pm were in the text of truth

Farside/HI - when you were informed you were lovers, was it done in the text of truth.

Should be a good way of seeing more clearly where we stand.

pedit - so my thoughts at the moment is that Juls could well be scum. Her iso is quite polarised she has made some very towny posts and also some very scummy ones. I think HI is scummy too, eg. stuff like the naked vote on ika and then unvoting after he had actually been hammered. Theres a few players like dgb/albert/konowa who I'm finding it hard to read either way. Of the three wagons at the moment I would support Juls' one based on scuminess of the wagonee but part of me thinks it would be better to leave her until tomorrow because another round of night actions might give us more info about her role. Aegor is defending Juls pretty hard, its an ok wagon but he's not super scummy. Honestly I would be down for a Kuribo lynch despite what I said earlier about giving the slot time as both of hiplop's content related posts were scummy and kuribo has so far not given any thoughts on the game. Even as I'm writing this I'm thinking that would probably be a little harsh though.
