I don't really know how to discern SK tells vs Mafia tells and am not terribly concerned about which of the two I hit.

SK's are probably harder to catch in general because they don't generate associatives, but they do generate dishonest motivation late game when they're not necessarily hunting scum anymore.

*shrug* did you want anything more specific? Do I think gossamer is an SK? If Fonz flips mafia roleblocker I'll give it some attention.

Otherwise, meh.

Nashville Dreams - reading Mala as town mostly on tone. Titus' chaotic play is bugging me. The thing about f16 being a serial killer bugs me. and the way she pops in and does a bunch of dissonant and contradictory stuff. this read is in danger of going south. should keep the claim in mind.

Maybe Town

Fonz - based on claim mostly. The clash between fonz and cutty shark comes off to me like two very similar play styles butting heads, which isn't alignment indicative. But fonz' irritability reminds me of bork's reactions to being nitpicked.

Baboon - the mara fade is bothering me. I am pretty terrible at reading ceph but I guess I'm going to have to try. will be my next read to focus on.

Lissa - very tentative read for me.

Anatole - My main reason for thinking he's town is his day 1 play, his claim and the interactions between him and csareo.

Oka - main reason for thinking he's not scum is the interactions with Anatole.

5-off - basically the only reason to think he's town is the way he outed the neighborhood.




so what i have is a bunch of nullish reads at the bottom of a small town pile. it's not seriatim, but i don't think i want to lynch anyone above anatole...maybe lissa.

A couple things I found quickly that fit my idea of babscum -

Everyone who isnt cutty, falcon, or nash is fair game at this point in time.

I would still really like to keep 5-off and lissa off the table, as well but read there is wavering for me

This post contradicts bab's expressed views and votes since on both Nash and 5-off (5-off required no convincing at all, seemed like she was eager to get the lynch)

I'd lynch 5-off in a heartbeat. He's more likely 3rd than mafia in my opinion, but we're ahead, we can afford to take that risk.

collectively, it seems like our top choices are AK, FT, and Csareo

I am not as inclined to really follow through with AK though and will only lynch him via deadline

This is obviously from before the Bee/FT lynches. "isn't going to happen" With a quick look over her ISO, I don't see any real defense of Honey, just dismissing any suspicion even though Honey's day one looks really bad.

Uses hydra dissonance to their advantage to keep a lynch possibility open. Why would a townie need to do this?

Top choices - two townies and one VI who is likely town or third party maybe. No honey and no currently alive players who would likely be a potential third partner.

But I'm not actually a top choice, just a deadline compromise. So FT and Csareo but leaving the lynch open for me for a later point (I think I look like an easy target a lot of the time.)

But also Ree (who had done nothing at all in the game whatsoever) and Fonz, who (I haven't looked back at VCs) I think most people were townreading at the time pretty firmly and who I've had a PR vibe from all game. Guessing she did too.

big lynch pool, check. seeds for future lynches, check. possible PR hunting, check. dismissing possibility of lynching lynchbait partner, check.

when I read his back and forths, particularly with you, it reminds me a little of you. It doesn't suggest an alignment to me, but it does give me some thoughts about how he approaches mafia, and fits in with other stuff I'm observing.

Why? I've already identified that issue and remarked about it, so I wasn't really surprised when that's what you came out with. I'd be more surprised at this point if you had come out with a slew of them and just weren't talking about them before now.
