Agreed. Hmmm, I still don't know how much I love a karp lynch, because then we just lynch karp and you die tonight. If Karp is scum, then great, but if he is town, then we are in an even worse position than we are right now.

Oh definitely. Certainly not confirmed by any means, but at the very least we shouldn't lynch him because a) If he is cop, scum will probably kill him tonight anyway and b) If he doesn't die, he is either scum or we can get more cop information

Innocent until proven guilty. You are correct that there is not

guaranteed

to be a cop. However, there is also no guarantee that there is not a cop. Cop, is however, quite a common role for town to have and it would take a lot of gusto for scum to fakeclaim that. Indeed, scum also have the burden, when fakeclaiming cop, to provide 'results' from investigation. Why would scum risk claiming a role that is 99% of the time likely to be CCed when they can claim less common roles such as, say, Jailkeeper or Roleblocker? Scum won't gambit with a common role when they can play it safe by claiming another. Unless scum have reason to believe there probably

isn't

a cop (ie. no Godfather), then I consider it unlikely for scum to claim that. While the above statement could be true, I consider the most likely statement -- that he is cop -- to be true unless proven otherwise.

I think we should massclaim. We need something to break this position we are in, and scum already has a spicy enough lynch tonight with Pacman. I think it could help us a lot. I would like to hear the thoughts of a few before we move forward with a massclaim, however.

Since there's no CC against him I feel that it's good to keep him alive. Also, his claim would make better sense now with a lot of his play which makes me want to believe him more although we won't know 100% yet if his claim is true or not yet of course.
