Yeah, that mod policy was ridiculous. Saying you're going to modkill people who don't meet activity requirements is fine (although, still abnormal and very strict and PROBABLY should've been mentioned in the signup thread). But the modkills on LLD & GreyICE were both completely ridiculous. I asked Grey if he had any idea he'd be modkilled, or if he was warned. No, he wasn't. He just requested replacement (because his post restriction was fucking stupid and frustrating) and the mod just modkilled him.
The rule doesn't state modkills for anything other than activity-related reasons. Then, once the modkills happened and I brought up the fact that the rule didn't mention it, he goes, "Oh, well what I meant for the rule was
this
, so yeah, thinking it is the same thing as saying it," and modkills me, too. I knew at that moment this game wouldn't get off the ground.
FWIW: SMP was my pick for scum before the modkills happened.
