Why let the wagon get to middle size then boom grow in a instant once a vote tipped it into the most voted category. I feel like the wagon started on town grounds and some point scum greased the wheels.
You seem to have found where my suspicion of Waffle started, but thought I'd answer anyway. As I was writing my summary post I took notice of the exchange between Waffle and Genda, and thought there could be something to it, particularly since it seemed to receive little attention at the time. So why did I not vote then? My goal with that post was to establish baseline reads on everyone, for my own benefit as much as the town, and I was still preoccupied with ProHawk.

No, I agree with you. I don't think it would make any sense to ask someone else to hammer if you can do so yourself, as either alignment.
Speaking of making sense, I could almost believe Garmr's theory about Waffle being sarcastic, though I did not read it that way. But as for Waffle, his explanation is contrived and ridiculous. If the dumb newbie comment was a joke, he should have just said so, shrugged it off and moved on. Instead he tried to serve us some wine, and when that did not work, he tried this convoluted plot that seems as likely to work as running after tying your shoelaces together. What I have to wonder is why has he spent so much effort defending himself after one minor slip, instead of playing the game?

Because you are judged not only by your accuracy but by your effort. Do you think the rest of us would be confident in our reads on day one? I know I'm bound to be wrong about something, but I stand by my reads anyway because that is how the game is. You do the best with what you are given, and let the mod sort out the rest. If you don't even try to find scum and focus solely on staying alive, it should come as no surprise when people suspect you.
