Greetings all - so I see that I have fans, huzzah.
I also see that town has allowed itself a derp deadlock near deadline, boo.

So basically I'm down to nail one of the three to the cross.
What are the cases on each or a link to an already presented case, or something?

@Mod - an updated vote count 48 hours after last and with votes moved and a new player hitting the scene would be sexy.

Vote Count 1.18

beastcharizard - 0
Bert - 1 (mastin2)
Flubbernugget - 5 (Guilty Gunsmith, Metal Sonic, notscience, pirate mollie Bert,
Guilty Gunsmith - 2 (Anatole Kuragin, Majiffy)
notscience - 3 ( Lying Cat, T S O, Guyett)
Metal Sonic - 2 (beastcharizard, Flubbernugget)

Not Voting:
==================

Pretty sure that's about right.
And Im replacing Majiffy? That's funny - it's like the same thing only an upgrade in beard and willingness to actually share thoughts - and I'm still close-lipped in most people's opinions ;)

@Mollie - why are you happy I showed up? As I recall last time we played you admitted utter inability to read me in any way. Wouldn't that be a bad thing?
@Guyett - for Halloween I almost made that thing my avatar as a gag. Maybe I'll do it for April 1st or something.

@TSo
@Guyett

You guys moved to try to make NS a contender to Flubber - that needs explanation.

@Bert - You left NS to join Flubber, are you happy with your current vote now that NS just picked up two votes. Because you're posting but you're not moving back. Why is that?

I'd like to hear a Flubber case, an NS case, and the people voting Guilty Gunsmith and Metal Sonic should either try to make a case or admit their wagon is narf and hop off for one of the contenders.
I say that recognizing that I am one half of the GG wagon.

@Mastin - what are you doing with that useless vote at this stage of the game?

cos I was townreading majiffy. that means unless you smurf it up with your typical obscurity I will work with you.

if you have somehow missed that I respect you as a player then you are srsly not paying attention.

Life is essentially a cheat and its conditions are those of defeat; the redeeming things are not happiness and pleasure but the deeper satisfactions that come out of struggle.

@Thor:

Alive (13):

Bert: I have him as town based on his conversation with beast. Just finished a game with him and posting does look similar, though he seemed more involved in the other game. Read has staled somewhat.

mastin2: AP is townreading and tone/methods look the same to me from OC game. Not inclined to consider this lynch for a long while if ever.

Lying Cat (sthar8 and Jingle): Wasn't sure at first tbh. Gut reaction to both Jingle and Sthar's initial posting was town but did not agree with their townread on TSO. However, TSO posting is same as Chosen, including attitude towards us. TSO now scumreading them + Sthar's zealous push on Jiffy questioning this read heavily.

notscience: almost no read at all. Not really sure what to do here - attitude seems completely dismissive, doesn't seem to care about the game. Biggest problem I have is that this really doesn't seem alignment indicative so I have no idea.

Flubbernugget: replaced Ward who blatantly admitted to actively lurking and avoiding the thread, then replaced out. Flubber reads don't make sense and tone sounds the same nervous flubber from Chosen. townFlubber in the Newbie (Thor - you were in that) was far more comfortable with his posts.

Metal Sonic: was scumreading initially as he was trying to lie in order to get me lynched, and then decided to call it a reaction test. Kind of lost my steam on this and gut feelings are pretty blah. Probably the lowest strength of any scumread, but would be nulltown except AP is scumreading this slot. Flubber's read here does not give confidence but want flubber's flip to make further judgement. Later posts were better too, but since then I haven't seen anything to sway me one way or the other.

Anatole Kuragin: I think there is a style clash here. He's very abrupt, reminds me of thor, and he pissed me off early which made me want to scumread him. But posts are direct and to the point and he has asked some good probing questions. Had to take an unavoidable V/LA and came back kind of fresh - ISO looks pretty town to me.

pirate mollie: not sure what to make of her. Voting pattern is all over the place, which I don't remember in other games but I don’t know if I ever took the time to notice before. she goes back and forth on us and it's a bit annoying as it feels like she's playing with us and I don’t like that.

Guyett: gut town read but strong - I've never been wrong on him. ever. Just finished yet another game where I read him correctly off his first post. Can provide proof if needed.

Beastcharizard: like bert, his expression to get involved made me think he's town. Have not reevaluated this read since and probably should but I'd like to get a flip first.

Thor665 : was scumreading due to Majiffy choosing to PL us and refusing to actually contribute content, as well as not interacting with mollie as I'd expected - was hoping to gauge both alignments from their interaction and was disappointed. However, LC's push on Jiffy doesn't quite add up and I don't believe they are scum together. TSO scumreading LC as well, while LC townreads TSO makes me think LC is the scum there making jiffy town. As a note, never played with Thor as town before so this will be interesting to see if I can read him.

T S O : also scumread him early due to weirdo reads that I didn't agree with (townreading MS at a time that didn't seem appropriate, just to get on his good side and push an easy lynch) but his flip on LC doesn't seem the same as when he was in Faith Plus One - in fact, his faith play is almost unmemorable, and this isn't, and correlations with chosen do make me think town here.

That's where I'm at, and mid-catch up with AP as we speak.

@Thor: didn't feel compelled to change my vote as it looked like a no-lynch regardless (unless people suddenly showed up to vote flubber) until deadline got extended this morning

ETL, have you read what I posted since my conversation with beast? That beast convos was a long time ago. Granted I haven't posted in the last few days, but before the game hit the lull and momentum stalled, it was kinda active. Fluffy, but active.

I've seen one old Flubber game, but he was a Town Jailkeeper and tried hard. He's null to me because there's no effort. But the point you brought up about the nervousness you saw in his old scumgame is interesting if true, which would make me feel better about lynching that slot.

And notscience is null/scummy but also I kinda think he's scum? I can't name one post that looks like it came from a town mindset, it's like he's dodgy from going on about anything that's not a shallow read. He's present, maybe not that active, but this reminds me of the several times in old games I was scum with him. This is the type of game that notscience when town gets excited about... i don't get him

the only games i remember very well were Reboot, where I was scum and didn't care about your votes, and Faith Plus One where you tunneled me all day long, so I don't remember what other votes you made. In Autumn Promenade, I don't remember ever thinking to myself that you were voting everyone and their mother or that you seemed like you didn't know what you wanted to do, which is what I have been thinking here.

p-edit: bert post - will read.

and hider seemed like a safe fakeclaim

wasnt close to 100% until we both flipped. i also never gave out info in the phok or shos neighborhood, shos for obv reasons, but phok because didnt trust him or whether your hide worked on him given bastardness of game

this day 1 in this game is just long and day 1 could use a lynch, right now, but im impatient lol

i also am wildly paranoid about you (aside from scumreading AP, but it might be (if ur town) because his postings give off an unpleasant tone, idk. he just doesnt explain things)

also, i hate gamblers fallacy but it is in the back of my head. cos i havent played with u-scum since i was ur scummate in that Natirasha/SSK old large Game (cant remember its name). only time with u-scum i think in old games. dont hate me bahahahaha half-kidding about this last gamblers fallacy thing, ok maybe not
