Farside, my reads are pretty weak right now. I don't really like the cheap shots and shitty reasoning coming from DOMO or KCC, but that amounts to a weak gut scum sense. Everyone else is pretty null. Sometimes you get strong reads out of the gate, other times you've gotta dick around a bit. It's one of those"Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

True. -I'm not
tryingto look anything. I'm just looking for bad guys and answering any questions that come my way.
Thank you, I was misreading the tone of the word "look" in that sentence. This all makes sense.
I never said it was scummy. I've played with plenty of players who do that as town. -It
is, however, a tool that scumcanuse to avoid directly answering questions and just glide through the game. So, putting an end to that sort of behavior early (or at the very least working out a system where I can communicate with them effectively around their attitude) is a high priority to me.
Yes, I have a bit of dislike for that type of playstyle; it's disruptive to my scum hunting. But, while I was a bit confrontational at first, if you don't think I worked my way back around to trying to reach an understanding with TW, then you are beyond where I can help you.
It was L-3. I waited for a vote count to be sure. -I wouldn't have voted him to L-2 there because my vote wasn't intending to see him lynched, it was meant to inspire a response and show that I was serious.
BTW, I'm actually leaning fairly town on TW at this moment, but the vote isn't moving until he gives me a serious answer as to why he jumped in for mastin back there. -Do you see how mastin gave me a nice, direct answer? That's all I ask. I don't need my scum hunting to be met with an attitude.- Shiny Hydreigon

Like, I have doubts on basically every read of mine (yes, to some extent even on DOMO), except my read on you.
I rarely get this confident on a read, but in this case I just so happen to know it's right. Hard to explain.
If you're so confident that I'm scum, why not state your case against me? I don't understand why you're hesitant to do so.
It's too convenient to simply say that you "dont' feel like explaining it" at the moment.

For the record,Iagree with mastin on rom, though, I have no issues with you either, Domo.
BTW, can we avoid naked voting as much as possible? It makes wagon analysis really, really annoying later.- Total Wreck

Difficult IS my thought process. As far as what I care about, it's the puzzle.
Who is scum? Who will they kill? Why? Is there an SK, or is it a vig? Why would town do "x"? Why wouldn't scum do "y"?
What others think ofmedoesn't matter to me. I'm more concerned with what I think of others.
Thank you, that's great. I can appreciate and understand that. But, do you think you could consider that you aren't the only person playing this game? -I'm trying to work out the puzzle as well, but you're effectively hiding some of the pieces from me.Youmay not actually care about being voted, but displaying that attitude is bad formygame experience and hindersmyability to solve the puzzle. So, if you could take that into consideration, I would really appreciate it.
Anyway, I'll give you a little puzzle to work out. Let's say, hypothetically, one player asked another player a question, without saying anything regarding their alignment. Then, a third player proclaims the second player town. -Why might town do that?
Fair enough.- Total Wreck

Is there a meta case on rom that I'm unaware of? Because all I see are a few casual posts and not much else. I have no idea how people have a scumread on him unless casual posting this early is a killer scum tell for him.
For the record, I don't even care if mastin is right about rom, in fact that would probably be more suspicious.
TW, why is mastin town?- KittyCupCake

UNVOTE: Total Wreck
VOTE: Romitelli
Because Rom, despite several posts, hasn't done a single thing that even starts to resemble scum hunting.
I'm leaning towards agreeing with you here. Though, I'm not nearly as confident as you seem to be yet.

This is reasonable. But does it not alarm you that mastin is scumreading rom based entirely off his rvs vote on me?- DOMO

Mastin generally doesn't like to bus as scum. However, it should be noted that she is very aware of her own meta and will bend it as necessary. She's also adept at reading other players as scum, a skill that she uses to manipulate the town to great effect (example: Left 4 Dead Mafia). Lately she has been starting games with giving a bunch of reads without explaining them, usually with most of the players having not posted yet. However, I would also expect her to be aware enough to do this as scum, too, and her reads in this game just feel very fake.Bulbazak is so town that everytime someone votes him Mastin coughs blood.- Nachomamma8, Maniacal Street Mafia

You're agreeing that I'm obvious scum based on my RVS posts?
KittyCupCake wrote:Because Rom, despite several posts, hasn't done a single thing that even starts to resemble scum hunting.
I agree that this has been a fairly slow start for me.
This is my first game out of newbie queue, and I'm still getting acquainted with its format and size.- Total Wreck

i really don't understand how you consider this valid scumhunting

Actually, I normally try to get Mastin to townread me as scum, but I'm sure your theory is valid as well and wouldn't feature any backlash whatsoever.Bulbazak is so town that everytime someone votes him Mastin coughs blood.- Nachomamma8, Maniacal Street Mafia
