This is not how it worked there either. That only occurs if there's a protective role and scum has no strongman shot. Why you'd assume neither was the case makes no sense form a "I am town and know no other roles" POV. Not to mention lightning-rodding a town read in the first place. If you are town, I'm afraid you've made an error so grave that, due to the sheer WIFOM of it, there's no way you can be allowed to live past today. Period.
