Re-read ISO's and went over some parts of the game. I don't think Medea is scum and I actually thought some of Cabd's interactions with Ffery matched with an old Newbie game where she was scum and he was town i.e. Ffery's painstaking efforts to sort him met by him not really caring so much to sort her. But I'm not super confident they are town either. Hate, hate, hate Ffery's recent interaction with me and the tone with which she did it. It feels really defensive and in a way I'm not used to seeing town-Ffery react to suspicion. There is too little condecsension and too much OMGUS but I'll elaborate in a bit. Would like Nacho to explain the townread and I'd also like Anti to explain it considering her reaction to his push on her in Serum and Steel was way, way, way different.

Best guess is that Yonce and Murder are the scumteam. Nacho is a possibility but I want more interaction there. I need to re-read how the Day one no lynch played out and I'll post a full list of my reads in a couple of hours from now.

TOWN (Strongest to Weakest)

1) Regfan

- Regfan is blatantly fucking town based on his stances and the forcefulness with which he is pushing those stances. I haven't even taken into the account the replace out by his predecessor. There is no way Regfan as scum would open up by hard pushing Nacho and Ffery when those are the players he would most likely be trying manipulate if he were scum. There are a few other reasons that I will try and elaborate if anyone actually disagrees.

2) Antihero

- I liked Antihero's push on LMP out of RVS and the confidence in his push felt like the way he normally pushes scumreads as town and I have a really hard time seeing Antihero make Post 167 as scum and I absolutely love the way he went about pushing his read in Post 283 and the vibe that he gives off when he is town and knows that he is right is something Anithero is unable to fake. Would really like Ffery's explanation for her concerns here since the forcefulness with which he is pushing LMP matches the way he was pushing Pixel in Serum and Steel and I'm not sure why you are hung up on his push on you not matching his push in SS where he was wrong. Meta is progressive and if he pushed you as town and was wrong, it makes more sense to hesitate on a push there as opposed to push again with the same amount of certainty and I know that you know this based on my inside view of your scumhunting from Mafia In the Air. While I don't agree that the way Boonskiies used his role is scummy, Antihero's absolute confidence and belief that he caught scum in Post 929 and subsequent interaction felt incredibly genuine and his skepticism that Boon would make a bad move as town makes a metric fuckton of sense when considered in light of Mini 1609 where BoonSkiies played the VI card and went on to win as scum. I also feel that Anti as scum wouldn't be bold enough to make an aggressive attack on JesusBuddha the way he has and his interaction with them felt like he was genuinely trying to sort them out.

3) Boonskiies

- I am surprised at the suspicion on Boonskiies based on his role as his explanation fits in pretty well. If he only saw the lightning rod at F2F mafia and didn't think that it would redirect kills to his target, I don't find it scummy of him to give it to his townread although suboptimal and the "I'm done answering questions about why I targeted Anatole. I feel like a broken record" feels like he actually believed that his move was pro-town. I also like Boonskiies aggression in Post 617 and his push on Istott where he said that "

You got into a mini heated argument, and as soon as it started heating up, you wanted to pull away, as you were about to be in the spotlight.

" feels like townie overconfidence and not a line I normally see coming from scum. The entire idea that he as scum would claim to have a lightning rod and use it on a townread and then give F2F mafia as an explanation doesn't make any sense at all as a scum strategy.

4) IStott

- A lot of IStott's posts felt newbish but the way he interacted with game felt incredibly naive and natural and not the way I would normally expect newb-scum to post. His initial posts where he asks people whether a certain action is scummy or not comes across as super-transparent as I find it incredibly unlikely that scum would so openly ask what is a scumtell and what is not as opposed to assume that they have committed one. I also like the depth of thought process in Post 372 and I don't believe that newb-scum would spend as much time analyzing the game. The fact that he said three hours earlier in Post 331 that he didn't like the insults being thrown around and then spent as much time trying to find the content in the posts and then saying that he spent way too much time on it reads very town and I really don't understand the suspicions here at all.

5) Egg

- Probably one of my weaker townreads. His interaction with the game didn't feel fake or fabricated and I liked that his reads were internally consistent overall. I especially liked the "

Murder, I find it interesting that you think I'm scum with two of my scum reads.

" in Post 716 but I dislike that he is uncertain with most of his reads and a lot of weak language in Post 724 such as "Can someone explain the Murder case to me?" which strikes me as off on a gut level especially considering Post 716. I'm on the fence about his catchup in Post 475 and while I can sort of see where Regfan is coming from about his read on Antihero, I also dislike how fluffly it feels and the lack of concrete opinions. I remember an Egg game a while back and thought he was very obviously town there so I'm going to re-read to solidify this read.

6) JesusBuddha

- I'm ambivalent about Nacho's posts so far in the game and it hurts my eyes to read the Mara-spam. I really, really liked the Boonskies townread in Post 1067 as it echoes some of my thoughts and are exactly my thoughts on him. I hate how everyone is pushing Boonskiies as an auto-lynch. But I also know that Nacho as scum whiteknights bad mislynches as shown by FFX, Tales of You, and NY169. What I want is for Nacho to explain his reads and posts and I want an actual list of reads with explanations for who is town and more importantly who is scum and why. I also want the Istott vote explained and please respond to my townread on Istott. Also, SleepyKrew, if you are town, I need you to be town and we'll wreck shit like we did in Mafia in The Air (or at least we wrecked scum). Also, I don't think there is any way at all that scum-Regfan jumps into the game and starts attacking you and Ffery so I would really, really love your Regfan suspicion explained as well.

7) Mikuru

- I initially liked the detail of Mikuru's catchup in Post 594 and found it townish upon a quick skim but most of it is actually pretty terrible. I disliked the way he approached his read on my slot (GreyICE) as it feels like hedging on his read and make it seem like he is contributing without taking an actual position and it led nowhere. His townreads Murder for "cheek" and scumread on Antihero for "condescension" while criticising HB's vote on GreyICE as "weak" without offering his own opinion on what he thought about GreyICE was weak as hell. I hate the "

I see GreyICE is disagreeing with a lot of my reads which is weird. I want to talk to him about some of these later

" as it felt wishy washy as if he was afraid to take an actual stance. His entire catch up is made up of statements like "

I agree with Riddleton but he's just echoing without adding anything new

" and no thoughts that he actually backed up. AA9 replacing out because she didn't want scum taking advantage of policy-lynches felt somewhat town although I'd have been more convinced if she held the conviction in her GreyICE read before she replaced out but she seemed to be loosening up on that scumread. The thing that bugged me most about AA9 was that her pushes and reads didn't make sense and her reaction to being pressured was to criticize her wagon much like she did as scum in Final Fantasy X. I did a meta dive on her in that game and my impression was that her posts as town had an internal logic to them which goes haywire when she is scum. I need to develop this read more and ideally, I'm hoping Mikuru posts more content so I can nail down a read there.

8) MedeaTheAlien

- Focussing in on Penguin's reads-list, I find it rather weak. Her read on GreyICE felt suck-upy and town-Penguin isn't known for brownnosing and I hate the way she said "

." I found Post 859 where she details reasons for why Murder is town or scum rather odd calling Ffery posts scum and AP posts town but I also thought some of her reads like her read on Egg were pretty strong. Penguin isn't posting enough for me to get a solid, body of work read on her which I hope will change at some point. I'm unsure what to make of Cabd's interactions with Ffery towards the end of D1 as it felt like he was avoiding Ffery which initially made me think they would be the scum out of Medea/Murder but I also think Ffery's subsequent townread is rather weak and easily given and Cabd's disengagement from the game doesn't match how he usually plays as scum. I'd very much like for Cabd to explain why he is putting in almost no effort at all to sort Ffery especially when she was about to be lynched D1.

SCUM (Strongest to Weakest)

9) Murder of Crows

- Will elaborate on Ffery meta-scumread in a separate post. Some things that make me think it is a Murder-Yonce partnership is Murder's Post 649 where they say "

If you guys do wind up lynching us, then I think you should take a really good look at this vote on day 2.

" in response to Yonce's vote on them whereas they previously had a townread on Riddleton's slot in Post 561. I agree that Yonce's vote was scummy but Murder's overall stance felt like forced distancing. Yonce's unexplained vote also makes a ton of sense as a bus vote since scum often vote their partners without explanations and overt certainty whereas they would be more inclined to provide reasons when voting townies so they don't look bad upon the flip. This again doesn't match with their Riddleton/Yonce townread in Post 692 where they act like Yonce's vote never happened in the first place and there is no mention at all about it. As far as the no-lynch on D1, the people that suspected Murder were Serra, Anatole, Goblin, Yonce, Egg, and Medea. Yonce and Goblin were the only ones who were steadfast with their Murder vote although Yonce was never there during deadline so it is a null tell. Anatole and Serra are town. Will probably delve into more detail on the others on a Murder scumflip. Ffery-case will come later tonight probably. Also, further analysis of the Day one no lynch.

10) Yonce

- Yonce is holy fuck scum, even more so if Murder is scum. The certainty in Post 646 about Murder being scum is absurd considering her complete lack of content before that and subsequent vote switch to Ankamius in Post 1020 based on really shit reasons where she points out that she as scum would not defend a partner in that way which while fair enough is such a stretch to actually scumread Ankamius for it. Besides it completely contradicts her stance that Boonskies is town if as soon as she is suspected of being partners with Boon, she votes her accuser as opposed to defending her townread. The rest of her reasons in Post 1056 read weak as hell and not what I'm accustomed to seeing from Hoopla based on the past games I've played with her. She also never really follows up on her initial Murder scumread, attempts to sort them out or show any signs of it deteriorating.

That win (it was totally a town win) was pretty lucky. Deadline compromise lynching scum doesn't take much skill. Anyway iirc you never told me why you townread me that game so I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing here because it's town enough for me.

Actually, GreyICE not being around at the end of the game day makes a little sense of our deadline lynch not going through on day 1. But, that's not really alignment indicative. It was pro-town to ensure no-lynch didn't happen. It was pro-scum to get a town mislynch in a deadline situation that wasn't likely to have repercussions.
