Total newbie here. Just a minor suggestion if I may: it would be better if the main link to the newbie game queue pointed to this thread instead of the locked old thread. I might have given up if I hadn't decided to read the last page of the thread to see if there was a link to a new newbie thread. Perhaps you are counting on everyone to do that but having one less hoop to jump through would probably be a good thing, no?
I just fixed the links in the Newbie Game Wiki page and jeep's old sticky in the Road to Rome forum. Let me know if there are any other outdated links. Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention!

Good suggestion. I can confirm that this was already done before I went to the thread, which is what confused me (all of the links telling you how to join a newbie game pointed to a thread that you couldn't even post to) - my assumption was that no newbie games were being started because of the holiday season. Or perhaps that the whole newbie concept had died and there were no more newbie games at all. Luckily I decided to make a last ditch effort and look at the last page of the thread to see if there was any explanation (which there was).

Next newbie game will probably start tomorrow, because I'm waiting on a couple of responses from people. However, xRECKONERx, Aeronaut, or Bulbazak, PM me if you have any issues with there being two ICs in the next game instead of one if no one else /ins as a newbie or SE.
Thanks! I'm still launching the current game with two SEs, just because I'd prefer to keep as few newbies waiting as possible, but you'll probably come in handy next game.
