I decided that rereading f-16 and me FoSing each other page after page is probably not going to help me reset, so instead, I'm rereading the game from the start and looking at the stances of players wrt to what we now know. Probably should have done this earlier. Maybe I would have if this game didn't remind me of a lot of shitty rl things every time I think about it.

- Bassists looks a lot more town in retrospect. I'm probably going to look back and see that Regfan replaced into that slot though.

- AA9/GreyIce interactions don't look like early game scum/scum to me. iirc she tends to softball her teammates initially. Need to look back at FFX and nail that down, though. I remember her asking a scum partner (nachonotsci hydra) "who the fuck are you?", where her questions to town players at that point at least had some content-based teeth.

Antihero's strong defense of AA9 - wondering if that's typical of his interactions with scum partners? Maybe Mara already metadumped on this? The replace-out reaction by AA9 when he he asks about policy voting her is interesting. But, he clarifies and apologizes right after that. In thread. Talking to the encryptor. He could have tried to iron that out in the scum thread instead of apologizing all over the place to a teammate who was looking like they might flip that day.

I didn't pay a lot of attention to goblin because I liked lmp (though there's something in my trajectory that I need to think about). But, in retrospect, the post bugs me quite a bit.

Is there any particular reason for a Boon lynch outside of policy?

I've played with him before and read games he was in, and I don't think I've ever seen him be very useful in a game regardless of alignment.

My early game is horrendous, that's why. I always step it up shortly after. Must have been reading/playing in my early games on the site...yikes.

I want to think about whether his after day 1 play has qualified as stepping it up.

Ank, for scum as of right now, I have you, Antihero, and probably one of Yonce/Murder/Greyice/medea as scum. Admittedly, none of those are crazy strong reads. You just replaced in though, so I assume you saw my reasoning on all of those except Grey who is a weak gut twinge more than anything.

This post kinda exemplifies Egg's stances all game, from memory. He's maintained a lot of latitude for swinging about with his votes. There are things I still like about his play, and I still think that a lot of what I haven't liked are basically artifacts of playing mafia by phone the majority of the time.

In Mikuru's initial reads list. She made a point of not mentioning null-reads, which makes me think there could be a buddy in that pile.

Some of the stuff I didn't pull out and highlight may look more significant after I read further.

I was comparing my reads to yours. and also pointing out that my reads of dead players, though sometimes waffly haven't been all that bad. Even Anatole I called a town read before the end of day 1, which I didn't mention in that list.

I never understood the lmp scumbutt accusation. Goblin was creepy after his initial catch-up, but creepy isn't necessarily scummy. And he was apparently some sort of troll.

I'm reading you as one slot and the biggest thing you guys keep repeating is that Antihero lurks as scum.

You said you want a reaction to the case to see what I had an issue with. It was the eight point thing. To me, it was a combination of bad points and filler.

Reeally like Murder's point about Mikuru's list. One scum in her scum pile and one null sounds right. So F16 and one of Jesus/Antihero makes sense. And I doubt Jesus is scum. However, that brings me back to Antihero/F16 so I'm wondering if this is just confirmation bias on my part. Then again, it's hard to see anyone else as scum right now except maybe Murder.

Eye's slot was likely town because he was probably replaced for getting too much info somehow. This is town much more often than it's scum. If you accidently find out who the scum team is, there's no way to forget about it. It's damaging and replacing out is the only answer. As scum, the worst that happens is you find out someone is a certain role which tells you what? That Boon or myself isn't fakeclaiming as town (which in Boon's case, Eye already knew and I know I didn't accidently give Eye any info). So Eye is like 90% town, maybe more. F16 trying to discount that doesn't look good to me.

GreyIce powerlynched his lurking scumbuddy guille2015 on day 1 and then flaked. His replacement, UberNinja, sailed to lylo on the towncred. Paraphrasing AP here because I wasn't really interested in UN's posts.scan of GreyIce' tone, he's not as vitriolic in that game, especially at the start. His posts are shorter and less content-heavy. The early text speak was also something different tonally. I dunno if any of that is alignment indicative. Mostly I wanted to see GreyIce go after a scumbuddy in another game.
