Ok, is it like a vogue thing to be townreading me or something? All I did was softclaim and haven't contributed a single piece of useful info or analysis the entire game. And people are townreading me.

I'm starting to think it's a scum tactic and I've scared the shit out of them for some reason and so they aren't going to try and lynch me. Which I'm totally ok with, but I'd like some warning if I don't have to do anything. So I can do said nothing.

This general trend of people in this game being too stuck on themselves to actually explain their thoughts is getting pretty annoying.

Okay, this explanation has nothing to do with NM actually whiteknighting or not.

WK is showing town intent in someone's every action, to tell everyone they're town, to call people stupid over scumreading them, etc. in a way that is much too strong for the town behaviour displayed.
There is no reason town would do this; they would showcase an adequate level of a townread, not a way too high one.

It has two functions for scum
1. If the player is town, use it for towncred. They make it known that they are very much against the lynch so they seem more trustworthy upon the townflip.
2. If the player is scum, to prevent him from getting lynched.

Seohyun, your focus was on kbw the whole time up to that point, just egging him on for no apparent reason. I dodn't understand why and it was, to say the least, not very constructive.

And I don't believe whiteknighting is solely a scum tactic, town can white knight people too. I've seen it happen plenty. The only sorta scumread I have is on espeonage. Meanwhile, Marquis could 50/50 be scum or town and I don't know which I want to jump towards.

Nonetheless, Wisdom came into the thread and declared he didn't think kbw was scum even though the wagon had momentum and people were clearly scumreading kbw. If thats not a hardcore enough of a town read yadda yadda yadda to be WKing under your definition of WK then sure thats great. I don't really care. I still think its weird that wisdom took issue with N_M for having a opinion thats not all that different than his own.

And I'm quite happy leaving it at that and dropping this conversation. I'd rather spend my time digging into the half of the playerlist who havent made a meaningful post in over 2 days.

I'm a little worried that my thought process about Micc (Following Micc's misrep) after the last post is what Wisdom's post conveyed, except better articulated than my post about it would have been. The worry is that Wisdom-scum can tell who's lynchable and who's not. Paranoia over!

Changing my vote again (3 times in a row) wouldn't be really productive, but I am tempted. I don't understand why Micc thinkins Wisdom's vote was contrived in the first place. So yeah, I read back and saw some circular reasoning from him (which then delved into semantics as a diversion)

tl;dr the semantics i was referring to is the one about WKing. K just read and Micc doesn't like semantics so he shut down the convos, but that still stunted further interaction with Wisdom, which would help Wisdom (who is voting Micc (!!)) read Micc better, so why wouldn't Micc continue on and discuss other things with Wisdom (instead of try to interact with lurkers in general (no one in particular))?

Wisdom/N_M mini conflict strikes me as silly. I don't see either of them as scum at this point.

While Wisdom wasn't voting Micc before Micc shut the convos down, Wisdom did express some concern here. A few posts after this is where Micc shuts down and doesn't change the subject, but instead just decides to go figure out the rest of the playerlist that is inactive.

Because I know that it can look like blindly sheeping Wisdom (two times in a row, previously on Not_Mafia) because my thoughts about Micc are around the same of what Wisdom is voicing. I also am fine with my NM vote, as I don't really feel like he is scumhunting. Still just commentary, and until he steps it up rather than seeming nervous - nervous as in, mostly dry commentary lately, no belief behind any pushes

I'm also not very familiar with Micc, so there is more margin for error.

You also acknowledge that that (not seeming to play to a town win con) can be said for multiple other players in this game.
