I am arguing that while F-16's actions were fairly clearly a part of rvs, Tier's were not. The problem I had with tier at that point in the game was that he seemed to be trying to push the game out of rvs (which is good) while not providing content himself. He seemed to be trying to get other people to do the work for him (which isn't good). It looked to me like someone who wanted people to wagon, but didn't want to be the primary push on the wagon so they had an out to claim doubts later if questioned about it. Tier changed my view point on this fairly quickly after that (seeing as part of the reason I am townreading him is his actual push on NS in 124, but this is what it looked like at that time).

I disagree with this. You can't just excuse things in RVS. F-16 was acting scummy in RVS. He turned out to be scum. TierShift's actions in or out of RVS are either scummy or not and should be treated accordingly. I don't understand why RVS is such a major factor in your reasoning. Scum are still scum in RVS too.

That is reasonable boo, and I hadn't even really realized that I do it until this conversation, but I do tend to downplay rvs things and take them to a lesser degree than things that I consider to be outside of rvs. I should work on that part of my game. The association of random, and some of the things I've seen people do in rvs just to get reactions, makes me want to take tells at a lesser value from there though.

[All the tension is gone. The prisoners, having relieved their most primal instincts on one of their own, finally relax. They smile as they wipe off the blood, tripe, bile, lymph and brains off their faces and bodies. They are drunk with this culmination of their camaraderie, admiring the results of their collaboration. Deep down they know that the Serenes will be proud, but they cannot help feeling that small voice of conscience that whispers, "murderers." The basement door opens, the three Serenes and Reverend Insincere descend the steps. The smaller Serene inspects the body of ika, who now hangs from the basement rafters, dangling by a crude noose.]

"Yep," says the smaller Serene, poking the body with a stick, "looks dead to me."

"Finally," says Lady Serene, "it's about time, I was thinking we'd have to kill another one ourselves."

"I'm sure we'll get the chance," says the one with the booming voice as he cuts the dead man down from the rafters. ika's corpse plops unceremoniously onto the hard floor. The three Serenes step aside for Reverend Insincere.

"Friends, loved ones, desperate hangers-on," the Reverend begins, "Today we mourn the loss of ika the Peacemaker. He wanted only for everyone to get along, so naturally he died a horrible, brutal death at the hands of his friends and enemies. May his restless and immortal ghost find serenity in a way he never could in life."

[Reverend Insincere shakes his head and walks upstairs, texting his bookie. Clearly his intervention wasn't very successful. The three Serenes stuff ika into a blood stained body bag. Obviously, this is a bodybag that's been recycled from one of the previous deaths. The one with the booming voice turns toward the prisoners as Lady Serene and the smaller Serene begin lugging ika's corpse up the stairs.]

"Just so you know," says the loud one, "Our therapist will be visiting us tomorrow. He wants to make sure that the three of us are progressing toward becoming productive members of society. If he doesn't like what he sees here, he might send us back. AND I AIN'T GOING BACK OKAY?! So play it cool and remember how good the accommodations have been here at the BadaBing."

[He starts up the stairs, then turns toward the prisoners as he reaches to switch off the lights.]

"I'm gonna turn these off for the night. Most of you will probably wake up on the morning, but hopefully not."

[The lights go out and the basement is engulfed in darkness.]

ika, "The Peacemaker," Mafia Goon, has been lynched.

It is now Night 1. Those of you who are free to wander the room at night have (expired on 2015-02-08 09:00:00) to submit your night actions to the mod.

[The basement door opens, and an unseen hand flips the light switch. Now bathed in the harsh light of fluorescent hell, the prisoners stir as the Serenes descend the staircase.]

"Rise and shine, fuckers!" shouts the loud one.

"Yeah," laughs Lady Serene, let's get to counting these corpses!

[The three of them scan the room quickly and notice that all of the players are present, accounted for, and--- most disappointingly of all--- breathing.]

"Hey, what the hell?" says the shorter one, "You're all alive."

"Hold up," says Lady Serene, "I think this one's dead."

[Lady Serene nudges one of the prisoners with her Doc Martins. The prisoner... errr... guest... stirs.]

"Nope, just a heavy sleeper."

"I'm not quite sure how to take this," says the loud one, "clearly our failure to incite you to more murderous violence lessens us as hosts. Nay, as human beings."

[The three Serenes stand silently, contemplating the lack of bloodshed. The loud one puts his masked head in his hands and begins weeping silently. The short one is confused by the lack of blood, and Lady Serene stares at the guests shaking her head disapprovingly. Kinda like when your mom says she's not mad, just disappointed in you. The morning is interrupted by a knock at the door, and a loud laugh emanates from the top of the stairs.]

"EHUEHUEHEHEUHEHEHEHUEHUE OKAY YOU MENTAL PATIENTS ITS PSYCH EVALUATION TIME"

"Shit," says the shorter Serene, "it's our therapist."

[The therapist walks down the stairs and greets the guests, then looks across the room.]

"DR. HEINRICH VON FATE AT YOUR PLEASURE! NOW THEN, what have we here?! Why has most of the bloodshed fallen upon my patients to carry out? This isn't good for their therapy, it's down right deplorable!"

"Does that mean you'll be letting us go?" asks one of the guests.

"Let you GO?!" replies Dr. Fate, "EHEHUEHEUHEUHEUHE DO I LOOK LIKE I'M LETTING YOU FUCKING GO?! We can't let you go now, it would be detrimental to their fucking therapy! They've made so much progress, if we let you go now they'll regress back to the Old Ways! I AIN'T HAVING THAT SHIT! I'VE WORKED TOO HARD ON THESE THREE TO HELP THEM ATTAIN ENLIGHTENMENT LIKE ME! Let you go, DON'T YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MODERN PSYCHIATRY?! YOU CHEEKY LITTLE---"

[Dr. Fate, the Enlightened Serene, recomposes himself.]

"Anyway, it would be detrimental to the mental health of the patients --- as well as a waste of your self-sacrifice --- to let anyone go. You're just going to have to make do with what you have."

[The four of them begin climbing the stairs again. Lady Serene turns to address the guests.]

"Okay," she says, "don't disappoint us today! You heard the therapist, make with the murder, it'll be healthier for all of us. Oh, and we'll be sending down some cans of creamed corn that we found in an old German WW2 bunker. Most of them are probably still good, but you might not want to eat the ones that are dented or bulging."

[The door closes and the day begins.]

14 players, you still need 8 for a wholesome, healing bloodshed.
