You yourself are sabotaging your chances of achieving your wincon by lynching those you read as town. It is up to the mod to decide if Swag should be punished for his actions. And seeing as how he managed to get scum lynched, I can't say I really give a flying fuck about the means in this particular instance.

Is it something he should do in future games? Not at all. But is it against the rules to lie in order to push a lynch? I certainly don't think so. Town fakeclaiming a PR is shitty, but not against any rules. You're free to feel any way you want about it, though.

1. It is not playing against town to want lynch town read swag. Policy lynches exist for a reason. A good reason. He has proven to me that he is untrustworthy and I shouldn't listen to anything he says.

It is NOT the mod's place to punish swag. He technically didn't break any rules other than playing against his wincon, and punishment there would necessarily be a modkill, because anything less would confirm the slot as town via mod, which is terrible. And he was playing against his wincon, if indeed he was town faking a guilty.

But more importantly is that letting him get away with it means THAT THERE IS NO REASON HE WON'T DO IT AGAIN. By condoning the behavior you condemn yourself to seeing it again.

Also tth, I'll vote when I damn well feel like it. And I don't yet.

I'd recruit a null read. Because there's no weak modifier (ie. I don't die if I misrecruit) it basically acts as a 1-shot cop.

I would actually recruit a town read. I would rather to be able to talk to a conf town then to find a mafia.

TTH, when you say something "hasn't been established" you are wrong and demeaning. GC did establish why Dave is scum, you just disagreed with him. To handwaive such evidence creates conflict. To be fair, I do handwaive myself but it's usually about gut cases and wifom. To have a case you spent time on dismissed without explaining why is not going to foster dialogue but tunnelling from both sides.

For instance, Swag saying Dave is town because OMGUS is recycled and worthless. OMGUS is more of a personality indicator. Swag is screaming Dave is obvtown for literally nothing. That's evidence Swag is scum and fabricating reads.
