My concerns about brantz started with f-16's flip. His posts about brantz went nowhere in particular and I thought it looked potentially partner-ish. The other player I thought looked somewhat partnerish with f-16 was Sleepycrew, so grain of salt, and I still keep that in the back of my mind re Titus, though it's back burner. The next big thing that pinged was Brantz staying off the ika wagon. He and AP both did that, but AP did it first and did it in a way that gave me townvibes.

There are a few players who I feel are mostly using their posting restrictions in ways that let them avoid putting much substance behind their stances. Brantz is one. NS is another. I felt like espe also did that, though, so it's obviously not a slam dunk scum tell.

Anyway, those are the big crumbs in the bottom of my chex mix bowl.

Nacho can come to my superbowl party any time.

You are quite impatient aren't you?

Sorry Thursday's are really busy for me, I have class all day and then work.

My suspicion of NS was piqued with the hammer vote on Espeonage. T-bone tried to throw a lot of smoke at the people on the wagon prior to that point, but I have found that a good way to read a replacement of a scummy slot is how they react to a large wagon on them when they replace in. But to hammer someone while a replacement is being found seemed very sketchy to me. So then I went back and reread NS. He spent a lot of the early game doing nothing except throwing reads around and not adding much content.

There is a weird dissonance between and to me. Calling Tier's tunneling and Titus' vote hopping both scum oriented feels off to me. Also he has voted 5 different people in 17 total posts, so the freak out over Titus' 8 in 48 posts seems very strange.

Post calls a bunch of people town with 0 reasons why they are town, it feels a lot like NS is trying to pretend to give content while doing nothing.

As part of his hammer he gives his reason(s) for voting espe, "total lurking scum". That is it. Once again trying to look town, but prematurely ending the day, and giving very flimsy reason for doing so.

I talked about how ridiculous the vote hopping allegation against Titus is already given NS's voting history, but that is pretty much all NS has done today except for provide another post full of air about "reads" on people.

This is why my vote is still on NS.

Can I have a beer now? I'm feeling a bit parched.

This seems kinda contradictory on the face of it.

Have a beer.

Have you played with NS before?

You don't understand me do you?

I have not played with NS before.

But to me, anyone can say X person is town, or X person is scum and not give any reasons for it. This isn't adding content. All it is, in my opinion is trying to look like you are participating without ever actually doing anything. He has never said anything more about someone than that they are town or scum, except for Titus, and his whole case there is:

Nobody Special wrote:

A quick skim of NS' iso shows that he's said more than that about why titus is scum though. Not tons more, but more.

And we're talking about NS, which is why I asked you if you'd played other games with him.

That quick skim also reminded me of an interaction that I had with him on day 1 that I thought felt pretty town from his side.

He's been less forthcoming since day 1, though. Which is why I'm staring thoughtfully into my chex mix bowl.

You're saying I'm blind aren't you?

Do you mean the "Titus is too town to be town" remark? I don't think that really counts as something against Titus on its own.

So you obviously have more meta on NS than I do, is this fairly normal for him?

Low content is fairly normal, yes, imo.

Whichever endzone he's defending.

You have to look at trajectory and the few razzle dazzle offensive plays. In this instance, the razzle dazzle was in reaction to me and in defense of Nacho. I can maybe see scum jumping on something like that as a way to encourage a little discord. It's not the sort of thing scum-NS does, though IIRC.

That's fair, but I still think NS is more likely to be scum than not scum right now.

I simply canNOT understand how a "wedding organist" has never heard of The WEDDING MARCH. Why is my wedding being planned by morons????

Truthfully, and I hate to say this, but I have recently found myself dreading posting in this game because I'm running out of weddingthings to say. I know I should post more, but also the game seems to be dragging just a little. I will put more effort in.

BRantz, this level of content is actually above-average for me; I'm trying my damnedest to improve my play sitewide. However, as ffery mentioned, I am usually very concise and low-profile.

I will publicly admit my bias toward Titus -- it seems every time I play with her, she's scummy. Every. single. time. Maybe it's just her playstyle does not compute with me, or something. But I always (it seems) read her as scum.

However, there are things in this very game that point to her not being town, among them the vote-hopping. IME, wild votehopping is something done by scum to try looking active. Looking back over my experiences with town!Titus, I don't see that same pattern of spurious activity. Therefore, scum.

And, you know, you don't have to take my reads as gospel -- lord knows I'm wrong more than the average. I suck at this game, and for all my experience, I'm still not very good at reading people.

Also, Nacho is town, ffery is town.
....what?

I prefer 3rd party (specifically SK), then mafia, and then town. Surprisingly, I find the more I engage in a game, the less tedious a Town role is. Imagine that!

@Nobody Special:

Much like a hypothetical toddler hurling mashed potatoes at various members of her family at random and creating festive clothing stains for the holidays (I don't care if there's video evidence, I still maintain that wasn't me), I put my vote on three different people during the early part of this Day. How does Titus's vote-hopping differ from mine in that regard?

Also (and this is for anyone) can you look at my and give me an opinion on it?

Thank you.

The last time I had strawberry margaritas I ended up with a strawberry-shaped red stain on my shirt and hot wing sauce all over my shoes. I don't remember anything else that happened.

Why would you regret it in the morning?

Not to rain down clam chowder on your lovely ivory lace wedding dress, but you're flatly wrong, Nobody Special.

Titus replaced in during Day One.

She voted:

: Fferyllt.
: ChannelDelibird
: Ika

Ika is lynched. Day One Ends.

Day Two:

Titus voted:

TBone
TBone (shouldn't count, same person.)
AngryPidgeon

Espeonage is lynched. Day Two Ends.

Tiershift dies.

Day Three:

Titus voted:

Nobody Special
TBone
Nobody Special

That isn't eight votes in one day. It's three each day for three days. One was on scum (Ika), three were on Tbone and two were on you. That's far from random too.

I have nothing to wear while I get my dress dry-cleaned from your clumsiness, so you'll have to deal with me naked.

I admit, I only went through her iso and counted the number of votes; I wasn't paying attention to day-phases. And then commenting on it later, I (wrongly) assumed that was all Day One. Apologies.

I just think that the sheer number of votes given the total number of posts was, shall we say, offputting. Okay, so. My case on her seems to have collapsed, but my gut still says she's scum. Have I mentioned I have this terrible habit of scumreading her no matter what? Yeah.

okay so I read ap's iso and i dunno. I generally go by interaction with him and how he feels inside my head but he isn't exactly interacting with me like he has offered me a margarita at all. so points against him.
