The clock is winding down here and there are a ton of players lollygagging on the sidelines.

I'm not happy with the level of involvement by several players.

Mollie you're not digging into this game and that concerns me.

AP you only seem to get strongly engaged when someone goes after you and that concerns me.

CDB you have been a non-presence most of this game day and that concerns me.

I know there's not much new data in interact with, but that problem doesn't solve itself.

I'll go cry into my beer now.

I need to make a note of this for my vca. I do think scum are in a trap though.

They do not want to bus, yet the rationale for not voting ns/TBone just is not there.

The scum post slower than drunk snails stuck in molasses.

Hurry up, the window is closing. NS will be lynched if you do not try and start a counterwagon soon.

The cream of mushroom soup stains on my jacket should not be considered as evidence I am hoarding food. Maybe they were there already. Did you consider that?

I prefer an AngryPidgeon lynch, but am okay with Nobody Special lynch. I would like to give Pine time to post since he is V/LA.

I am not feeling the BRantz wagon myself. I need to reread Day One (and I'll try to do that today) to remember why I was twitchy about him then. Sheeping maybe. I just don't remember right now.

Brantz is town, so that wagon sucks.

AP is notoriously hard to lynch. Once TBone and Nobody Special are out of the way, the case on AP makes itself though.

@Titus: Speaking of bones, this oxtail stew stain still looks pretty fresh. Om nom nom.

I feel like I understand your playstyle more now and I'm not so paranoid. However, I don't like AngryPidgeon dismissing a post that was suspicious of you as scum-posting (regardless of what he thinks my alignment is) and yet being suspicious of you himself for... why? [reasons?]

@AngryPidgeon: Why do you think Titus is scum, please? Spill it, like I spilled scorching hot lasagna on Nobody Special's second caterer.

Do you think Nobody Special thought no one would check on how many votes you had made, or do you think it was just a mistake? It seems like an awfully odd mistake to make imo.

Ugh, sorry, life has been kicking my backside for a few days and a catch-up for this game keeps becoming slightly longer than I have time for at any given moment. I'll look over the last few pages for NS and Brantz cases during this evening - any helpful links to the best reaons to vote for either would be appreciated.

I'll try not to fall down any stairs while I'm doing it, but no promises.

Wow. I did
not
compute that this game was moving so slowly; I ascribed way more time in my head than would actually have been needed to catch up in-between stuff before.

Read the last five pages and found them fairly unremarkable. Looks like NS got some flak for this, which is undeniably awful but not something that really suggests to me that he's more likely to be scum than town, and that he's the leading wagon now feels like a case of 'eh, dunno, this game is flagging so we'll just lynch the weird guy who nobody really gets'. I think I'd like to look elsewhere if we can.

The post that most made me want to do something was this from Bookitty, which made me more interested in an AP lynch than I was before.

I'm also still against a BRantz lynch.

Going to have another look over ika now for plausible buddies. Maybe we got lucky and he shot himself in the foot with that gun all the scumbags like to keep loose in their trousers.

While I think about things... Bookitty, if you're around, could you tell me about your read on Nacho, please?

As one of only two people (with NS) whom ika said were scum in his only post of analytical worth - his reads list* - I think he's a person of interest.

*which admittedly might not prove useful as ika was playing like somebody who'd just poked himself in the eye with a fork

Acknowledging that we are likely only looking for two more mafia here and that we've already seen two town flip from his four "meh"s, my instinct is that there is a maximum of one scum in {Muffin, BRantz}. Similar deal for {AP, Bookitty}. If there's someone vulnerable in his three non-him "town" reads, it's probably beast->mollie. His Titus read is probably something that he would do regardless of her alignment, I'm thinking.

My gut's also starting to murmur that, given the approach that ika seemed to take to this game, actually naming a Nachobuddy as scum might be something he'd do (given that it is usually quite hard to lynch Nacho, I think the temptation to IDGAF buddyscumread him would be there).

Also I think that his forgetting to put a comment for me is an indication that I'm not a buddy, for what it's worth, as it's my belief that the first thing scum do when making these kinds of lists is figure out what they're saying about their buddies. But then again I can understand why y'all might read that as a figurative banana skin, in contrast to the many literal banana skins on which I slip daily.

Since you asked so nicely, ChannelDelibird, I'm going to spill my guts like I spilled maraschino cherry juice all over the tablecloth at the Sunday sundae church social.

Nachomamma8 wrote:BTW, pointing out the obvious because I love to do so as much (or else why would I point out Baron Happlebap's flaws as much as I have?): this interaction with F-16 kind of makes me hilariously town, considering he made a push on me, asked if I was townreading him, then switched tactics (twice!). If anyone disagrees with me, I'd love to know why!

This still seems valid to me. F-16 gave us a lot more to work with than Ika and so I'm much more influenced by Nacho's interactions with him than with F-16. It's worth noting that F-16 was not lynched and was not expecting to be lynched, so his interactions weren't being as guarded imo. I don't know about Ika (all I know is the sullen I don't WANNA post scum read) but I don't think it likely that F-16 would tie himself to Nacho-scum so comprehensively by first wagoning him gleefully and then offering to proxy his vote to Nacho. It doesn't make sense for a scum who expected to stay around for a while, and I think F-16 expected to stay around for a while.

I can't really derive anything useful from Ika's list; it looks like it's basically a rehash of what people were saying at the time. The outliers for me were Nacho (I think everyone thought he was town at that point), Beast (I thought he was town but I don't think everyone else was thinking that) and Nobody Special (was anyone seriously reading him as scum then? I really don't believe so).

All in all the list isn't helping me because it seems like a regurgitation of comments already made by others. I hate to dump the cherries jubilee on your cravat, but I don't have a lot to give in terms of the list. I am pretty sure Nacho is town though, despite his vote on me.

Dear fucksticks and fuckstickresses,

I have killed Baron Happlebap, and, in doing so, he has become a part of me. This makes me a worse person but the world a better place as a whole.

Pirate Mollie: My heart does not yearn to vote Bookitty. My heart yearns to vote Brantz, which I will do now.

Vote: Brantz

My original concerns with Bookitty formed when I had the impression she was following a little too easily, digging shallow holes, felt off. I forgot just how she felt early game and have since amended my stance: now things such as her sheeping Titus of the strong words and weak cases and reasons bothers me in the way it bothers a shepherd to see his sheep wandering towards a wolf as opposed to that murder thing I sometimes feel when bothered. I am disappointed in your level of dance with me this game: if you want to dance, dance with me now. Feel every contour of the body of a man who has just killed a man.

But Duke Bapplehap! This still doesn't explain your vote on Brantz!
Shut up, Baron Happlebap, ye soulless and dickless bastard.

Currently, I am voting the scumbag Brantz because of a body of work that has not dazzled or impressed or shown any sort of life. I am voting for a body of work that has simply existed and nothing more.

Take, as one glorious example of his infidelity, his vote on the airplane scum in post #31. It was made in a joking way despite pointing out a decently large flaw if taking things seriously (this is one of those save for later facts, please cement this in your collective brain pans), then makes his first serious vote in 115 on tiershift for telling people to sheep without giving reasons for it, which made him look guiltier than Baron Happlebap when I forced him to confess his sins while I held a gun to his forehead. I'm posting this small chunk of post as its own thing because woah, real reasons in a dead game, don't want anyone to get overwhelmed.

But Duke! But Duke! Brantz already refuted that line of reasoning!

For once Baron Happlebap, you homophopic shit-eating cuntwaffle, you are absolutely correct. Here's why his rebuttal was as bullshit as anything that's ever come out of your mouth before your final moments on this planet:

BRantz wrote:You like putting words in people's mouths don't you boo?

I am arguing that while F-16's actions were fairly clearly a part of rvs, Tier's were not. The problem I had with tier at that point in the game was that he seemed to be trying to push the game out of rvs (which is good) while not providing content himself. He seemed to be trying to get other people to do the work for him (which isn't good). It looked to me like someone who wanted people to wagon, but didn't want to be the primary push on the wagon so they had an out to claim doubts later if questioned about it. Tier changed my view point on this fairly quickly after that (seeing as part of the reason I am townreading him is his actual push on NS in , but this is what it looked like at that time).

His argument is that Tier's play was not obviously RVS, while F-16's was. There really was not a strong discernable difference. F-16 gave no reasons, seemed to choose me out of nowhere if you weren't familiar with our dynamics beforehand (he wasn't, unless scumbuddies told him about it). TierShift gave no reasons, seemed to choose NS out of nowhere.

So, it seem like an awfully strange coincidence for Brantz to pick out a townie's behavior over a scumfuck's behavior when they both seem painstakingly similar. And maybe once a coincidence, but do you remember when Brantz chose Espeonage over Ika for some bullshit reason and hemmed and hawed Ika lynch even while voting for him (for reasons I truly do not comprehend since we were not in a crunch for time)? Because I fucking do and it makes this little TierShift-Falcon interaction look utterly, utterly terrible.
