I am going to agree and put Pie in my town read. I don't think it is likely that two of neighbors would be on the scum team, although I wouldn't completely rule it out. This neighborhood was Not_mafia and BBT. Did Not_mafia confirm its existance, or do we just have Not_mafia's role PM, and Pie's word about it? I don't remember seeing anything in the thread until after Not_Mafia's flip, but I may have missed it in my read-through.

Looking at who is dead, and all of the people on the Not_Mafia wagon, I am going to assume that there was some manner of bussing going on, but I don't think there would be two scum bussing, so I'm going to say Flames is a likely candidate for one of the scum, and I'm not sure with the other one. Seo would be the only non-bussing candidate.

Are you guys serious right now? I would like to hear in detail how this even remotely makes Seo town. I can't see it at all and if you ever want me to come out of this tunnel I need someone to show me how I misread last night exchange. None of it makes any sense. He has role X with Hypnosis. Micc dies day 1 no psychic move. Esp dies night 1 no psychic move. Day 2 Seo claims to have used psychic. Day 2 ends with NM flipping scum and we finally get out first look at psychic. Day 3 he continues to talk about using psychic, then looks back at his messages and says he looked at the wrong pm. The only pm I can think he would have looked at would have been the one with NMs flip in it. The one that says Team Rocket in red a few times, has a character that wasn't his in the description and shows the move psychic. Yet none of that tipped him off that maybe he was looking at the wrong thing. Then he tries to tell us that he was looking at a pm about clarification for his move. If that was true it would have been talking about hypnosis not psychic.

tl;dr- the story Seo is weaving makes literally no sense. He contradicts himself and completely back tracks on certain points. He had knowledge he shouldn't have had at the time he had it. Only explanation is that he is scum and knew about it from his buddies.

And on the subject of BBT being fake, he and I were put in to a neighbourhood night 1, my role pm was worded poorly/wrong and I though i was a neighbouriser, I tried to neighbourise Espeonage and got given a neighbourhood with BBT and a clarification from Nati that my actual role was making a neighbourhood with anyone who uses the move psychic the same night as me.

I told BBT I find mod decided neighbourhoods pointless and 0 intention of using it, he followed this up sometime later by asking how it's a mod decided neighbourhood, so unless mod neglected to explain how the role works like he did to me then it looks like some weak attempt to be able to lambast me for some playstyle thing like he has with Tiershift and Bert

Flames is not on the wagon, and Seohyun was not on the wagon. I also was not on the wagon, but I know I am town, so I didn't count that one. I am assuming 3 scum as standard. I don't think both of the scum would be on the wagon bussing, so that puts one of Flames and Seohyun as scum.

also my logic isn't that just being a Psychic makes you conftown; it's that there wouldn't be more than 1 Psychic on the scum team, since NM didn't understand how the role worked, and thus that any remaining Psychic would be conftown.

That makes sense, I didn't think of that. I was wondering why formerfish thought I was lying because I didn't see a clear benefit from trying to claim that. But also, it's not like my psychic is the exact same as nm's flipped psychic move. So maybe there are different types of psychic which makes it viable to have more than 1 on the scum team? Does that make sense?

You used your psychic ability on the first night? Why weren't you in the neighborhood then?

Considering how not_mafia was lynchbaiting and not efforting much, I wouldn't be surprised if both scum bussed. Likewise, it wouldn't shock me if both scum were off the wagon. Going back on the first point, it's not that he flipped scum. It's that he was lynchbaiting really hard and not trying. A random example would be my last finished game - Antihero's wagon (lynchbaiting in a different way, but still similar - lurking, disappearing, etc.) in Once Upon A Winter Night had his scumbuddies on his wagon as the 4th and 6th votes (7 to lynch).

I didn't use it Night 1. I thought I did. Do you understand? That's why it's embarrassing. My ability name is hypnosis and I asked for clarification in a PM. I forgot what role I was and looked at it and went "oh ok psychic"

tl;dr i think it's really easy for scum to stay on or off a wagon that's as easy as not_mafia's considering what was going on. but yeah that wagon still took a while to build up.

yikes quadruple post - boon this type of "slippage" by Seo - i would like your comments on that please! this is something that sounds like something you would be prone to do from my memory of that old doctor P game, so your take would be nice - the "plead ignorance" part as potential scum, the backtracking, the recounting of events regarding whether actions were submitted (do you think he's fibbing about that communication?), etc.

in that case, this might actually be a slip. fwiw, I was thinking what had happened was that Seo had sent a PM to the mod sometime after the game started asking for clarification on his ability, but then after the game started he had forgot what the name of his ability was (but not the fact that he had used the ability he had on N1 and that he used it on BBT) and thought it was Psychic instead, in which case the PM he was referencing earlier that he looked at also would not have been the D2 ending PM which explains that.

I looked through his ISO and I didn't find him claiming Psychic on D2. can you point me to it?

It is not really scummy behavior, but more of a POE. It is difficult to grasp everything after reading 45 pages at once. You and Seo are the two that are still alive that were not voting NM. Looking at the recent behavior, I think Seo is the more probable than you.

Like Bert said afterwards, it is possible that both scum were on the wagon, I just don't see it as very likely, but if you are going to bus to the point of lynching, may as well have both get the towncred. So that would be an argument against my analysis.

I'm open to input from others, but those are my initial opinions.

it's gut, but he came off like he was genuinely embarrassed at screwing up (which I guess you could say is alignment-null given he screwed up either way, but a scum slip is not exactly something I'd expect scum to react openly about), and I thought the fatalism about wanting to replace out/not caring about being lynched in response to that also looked genuine

(I still haven't read yet, so I have no intention of solidifying a read based on just this. it just happened to be what I thought in response to those posts)

if anything, I think Seo would be more aware they didn't have the same ability if they were actually partners.

well, yeah. from a town POV, he wouldn't have been aware at this point he had fucked up, and would be seeing you as picking on something irrelevant since he doesn't get your point.

flames is kinda timid/mild both in language and action in this game so far

granted, im sidelining and a very lazy person but it is my observation of flames. i also just noted that 4 of the remaining 8 players are late game replacements, so to recap
