I have decided to ignore Witness Protection for the rest of the game and I advise everyone else to do the same.

The German was a quote with no relevance on the game and translates roughly to "Whereof one cannot speak, one must keep silent"

If Witness Protection made a third of the posts he's currently making that would still be too many.

You know it's funny cuz I actually think he's town. That aside, you're faulting a man for being nonsense in a game loosely based on a work of Lewis Carroll's.

I felt that this was saying that they [Debonair DiPietro and the fiery one] had a scum read on Witness. Even though it says "faulting a man" idk something feels off to me.

Tier's 91[/post ] feels very strange. I like Titus' [post]98 in response to it, but Tier realizing that he misunderstood later feels somewhat genuine.

Elbirn's 102 analysis feels town to me. But seriously, I was the second vote on Tier, during RVS, what did you really want out of me there? Also see what I said to farside about wp's babbling.

I think it might be because Farside wasn't in rvs mode. I don't think it meant anything in terms of alignment. I am willing to believe you were confused although almost anything can happen in rvs. Sooo maybe Farsides vote is well founded assuming you've played enough games to know this. FOS Brantz not enough to vote him yet imo.

So my reads thus far is the mollie hydra, DDD and Brantz are my current scum reads thus far.

I can explain any and all for those who care.

I liked Vmollies 117. But then switched around and they town read TSO so that was a bit confusing. I'm assuming heads aren't in sync.

@WP: Farside moved up to my top scum read because she accuses me of not saying anything, but then points out specific things I have said (calling my tier read vague, and saying me giving a read on Elbirn is "unnecessary") which is what pinged me the hardest. If his case is really about me not saying much he should want more of my reads not chastise me for giving one. I already addressed his other point against me. But in essence he twists my words to make it so I am saying that vm having town reads is bad, which isn't what I said at all. I will restate, the problem I have with vm saying those 4 people are unlynchable today on page 5, is it seems to me that vm is giving them a complete pass for the rest of the day, and doesn't plan to analyze their play except in a town biased way. This is not a healthy stance to take on page 5 of a game, it will color all of your interaction reading whenever those players are involved. He is also making the assertion that him feeling my posts are awkward means they are scummy, which is just completely awful.

Tier is much weaker of a read, but I agree with what Titus said about him.

I know you asked about my scum reads, but I feel that I should throw in that I think Bel is probably town.

Let me ask you brantz, do you not know what to ask players typically or try to figure players out? Do you just typically post nothing of real reasons and give nothing to post for people to get you pov?
Simply put, that's what I got from your post.
The reason I found your town reasoning unnecessary is that no one was saying anything negative about elb and it seemed like just a random I'm town reading a player and her is why. Hence unnessary. Also I think scum can give players town reads typically because they know who is town.
I usually ask why someone reads town if they are a scum read.
As for Mollie, well I've seen players have town reads early, I found her wording on never willing to lynch pretty useless too. Again reads a bit buddyish/over the top unnecessary.

@far: I don't tend to have good reads until about midway through day 1 usually, I am a read the thread type, but don't respond to things unless I have something constructive to add to them. I have a hard time in the rvs/early game stage applying much content because of this. A lot of the time I tend to fall on the side of asking players questions once I start to have reads on them because I find answers to questions more constructive than giving my own opinions (though I will give opinions if I think they are really needed or asked about them).

The transition from "Farside is 1000% scum" to "Nah let's lynch BRantz, you're right", with zero complaints, feels a bit unnatural.

we hadn't discussed it yet. I jumped on far cos i think her read on titus is incredibly scummy but guy stepped in and thought brantz's immediate vote on far looked scummy.

there was no discussion in between.

I support guy until I heavily disagree with him then you can expect a vote war like some of my hydras altho I don't think guy will be as stubborn as them but who knows this is our first game as a hydra.

soyeah you are seeing some dissonance here but you will have to figure out for yourself what means. I mean I can tell you all day that we disagree and have different approaches but you will have to just figure it out on your own.

As scum not playing has the upside... of perhaps people will conclude youre too cool to lynch, and at least there are no associative tells. (I think you are better than that)
As scum: Stalling always is handy as you can see which suspicions, are fashionable before taking a risk.

As town not playing has the upside of ... { } (I am sure you are better than that)
