The claim from Oranje was bad play, I have yet to see a post that explains why it was scummy, Wgeurts spent most of yesterday asking us to massclaim, so I can well see him doing so in order to start the process as either alignment, cause he either planned to role fish from the get go and mask it behind bad play or he genuinly thought it was a good idea, I think it's more likely to be case 2.

Claiming a role that does not likely exist is more likely than not scum.

role is unlikely in this setup? So far as I can tell, the only real argument against Oranje is that the claim was completely unnecessary. If we assume the claim is true, then perhaps the point was trying to draw a kill attempt since the role seemed odd. Why do you think that scum would ever make that play though? If you want to seriously make a case against Oranje, you have to explain why a scum Oranje says anything at all instead of just keeping quiet at that point.

You claimed your role PM basically proved my claim false, but after the mods made the change to the information, you don't seem to want to fill in the blanks on what you said that. In hindsight, it looks really opportunistic on your part. There were a couple of wagons on me yesterday, and it looks like you were trying to push it over the edge and get me lynched. I'd like an explanation.

going to claim now, i kind of wanted that wagon on me because my role is ridiculously confirmable and i wanted to see if scum would try going after an easy looking mislynch. i am a town double day foreman. i can select a player and cut their prod/replace deadlines in half (reduced from 72/24 to 36/12) for the rest of the day phase effective immediately. if they get prodded any time during a day i select them, they gain hated modifier for said day. confirmation is coming in the form of the commonwealth being prodded.

First off, though I snipped it from this post to keep it short(er), I didn't really care for his responses. Far too bleh and feel like excuses more than explanations.

As for the claim itself, I'm very annoyed by the fact they chose me (I mean, why not use it on an actual lurker like vonflare, Boon, etc.?), and I have no idea why this would be anything that would save him from a lynch.

I can confirm the reduced prod timers. If we were meant to be told that we're hated (which, from what little I recall about the modifier, I don't think we are), I haven't seen it.

If your role isn't one-shot it is. Admittedly, I doubt that the mods would let such a role be useable at LyLo, but if you could keep that hidden until the day before LyLo that's a good way to dupe town into lynching someone they may not have meant to do.

the hated modifier makes players have 1 less vote required to lynch if they are prodded during the same day i target them. i picked commonwealth because they hadn't posted in 37 hours (immediate confirmation) and they are a three-headed hydra so it's unlikely they'll miss the 12 hour deadline and get forcereplaced.

So...why not use it on someone who's actually lurking and doing little, like vonflare?

- Second post, Action Dan says Drixx is BP, Lihin's read changes as expected to Drixx being more likely town.

- Thrid post, ACtion Dan retracts part of his statement, we are looking for a deadline lynch (would have been better than lynching tracker in retrospect) so Lihin votes Drixx, understandable.

- Drixx tells us about silver lining and Lihin unvotes and says he likely believes Drixx, why would Lihin say this as scum????

I have seen copper drixx tossed as a possibility. Until we have more flips, saying for certain is bad. I meant those as separate poimt. It would provide VCA help and evidence on cooper Drixx theory. Of note, cooper made sure it was Jackal or PV lynched.

We missed a chance to test Lihin by asking if her role was usable at lylo.

Lihin has a really weird role.
It doesn't really do much either.
I'd be okay with lynching him, but some things do not add up with Oranje either.
His role seems fairly neutral in terms of use. It could be used from either the mafia or the town. It probably doesn't matter, though.

Oranje's claim wasn't the strongest, and it does seem slightly absurd. If you look back at the posts where he claims, it almost sounds like he's making it up.
Him driving Lihin's train was truthfully, not expected from me in the context of today.
I hadn't seen any former indication that Oranje was considering a Lihin vote/case the previous day or earlier today, and so, that leaves me thinking he pretty much

to make a case for a singular player which he had shown no previous indication of finding scummy. To say the least, cases that come out of the blue concern me.
What really concerns me even more is the fact that Oranje seems to be going after a less active/densely posted player, and I see the points he was trying to make, but there didn't appear like a ton to go off of in the first place. I also do not like that he continually waves his case in peoples faces when they could easily go back and read it if they really wanted to, but that's a digressive matter.
