I took the position of Title Fairy two and a half years ago because it needed doing and I thought I could do a decent job of it, since then I've become less active on MS, graduated and now work a job where there are three or four day stretches where I don't have the energy to actively browse MS. So I'll ask you the same questions I got asked back then first off do you think you'd make a good Title Fairy and secondly do you honestly think you'd be willing to stick with even after the initial appeal faded?

I'm asking you specifically because I personally think you could do a bang up job of it but I'd be more then willing to extend the offer to anyone else who truly think they'd be in it for the long haul and do the job well.

Don't get me wrong I'm not resigning or upset by the complaints and taking my ball home but if there's someone willing to do the job who can do a better job then me then I'm more then willing to let them grab the ball and run with it. I don't Title Fairy because I love being the Title Fairy, I Title Fairy because I love the site and it was a way to give back.

When a king is coronated, he doesn't put the crown on his head himself. In any event, this job is supposed to mostly be fun for the person doing it. If you're too busy and it's become way more of a job, let's put someone else do it.. Normally we do staff announcements and what not, but it seems appropriate to the thread for users to nominate other people and someone come in afterwards to decree by despotic fiat who will take over.

Sentencing Order: SleepyKrew

The defendant has entered a plea of guilty before the Court of Titles on March 28th, 2015 to one count of standing around not looking busy. On that same date the defendant waived his right to a penalty phase jury and the court began the penalty phase at a non-jury hearing on March 29th, 2015. The parties presented matters in aggravation and mitigation during the penalty phase hearing. The court now finds as follows:

1. SleepyKrew guilt on the charge of standing around not looking busy has been established beyond a reasonable doubt.

2. SleepyKrew has expressed a sincere desire to atone for his actions.

It Is The Judgement Of This Court:

1. For the crime of standing around not looking busy the defendant is hereby sentenced to three years of Title Fairying with the possibility of early parole should a willing successor be found.

I still have to write out a how to guide and let SleepyKrew take the time to come up with a titling system that works for him so it's not effectively immediately. However I've found myself phoning it in recently and SleepyKrew has expressed interest in giving it a shot so I hope the reds will support me in my unqualified support for his nomination.
