A) the % chance is meaningless - the mods didn't put some roles in a jar and take some out, and then decide their alignment based on a die roll. It can exist in either alignment

B) Targeting you doesn't even confirm you are a commuter (Which is a specific role variant), you could be just immune to certain night actions (such as investigations)

C) Targeting anybody else, we find out better information - (Heck we could find confirmed scum) --- targeting you we find out you weren't lying that you can't be targeted, which is next to nothing. Sure, earlier you might have been lying about it to avoid investigations, but I don't believe that now.

@Drixx/PV, I'm not going back down that rabbit hole with you again. I've posted my piece. You posted yours. Repeatedly. The fact is, you rolefished. I caught you. You rolefished in a manner I had predicted because I ran a similar gambit. Cry that I "won't admit I'm wrong" but there's no proof until a cop checks you or you are dead.

That reminds me Ozgin NOT checking you was the least townie thing he could have done. His vanishing act is possible (I checked) so it's not autoscum but checking you would have resolved a whole fucking lot.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, Titus, but you're not even 10% as clever as you think you are. The fact that you can't recognize the truth when it slaps you in the face just makes you an object of pity.

I would like to think that you're just too proud to admit you raged and move on, but the more you post, the more I get the feeling you actually believe your own delusions. You ignore anything that might pierce their comfort.

Human beings suffer from generally being unable to accurately model others. If you bother to spend any time at lesswrong, you should look up the Fundamental Attribution Error while you're at it.

I say this all because I know, for absolute certain, that I went out of my way to ask roles not to claim. I know that I wasn't trying to out any town roles. The ability to think rationally and question what you believe objectively and honestly will not only sharpen your skills at this silly game we play, it will much more importantly apply out in that scary real world we all must navigate. I hope you take it in the spirit of well meaning that it is offered. I shall have nothing more to say on the matter.

I like you Titus; genuinely. My prior post was a sincere gesture on my part, apart from our current contradictory stances in this game, to refer you to resources I have found exceptionally helpful to me in my life. I do hope you will believe me when I say this.

As for what is going on in this game, I suggest we both assume, for the time, that we engaged in a town 1v1 and move on to finding scum. If either of us are scum, after all, then we would have team mates. We need not engage in a constant distraction. I was asked what happened and I answered. I did not mean to re-open the matter for an endless back and forth. And this really should be the end of it for the time being. I need to look at Oranje and Vonflare and that shall take up considerable time I think.

Cliffnotes:

1.) TPTG voted Titus and the vote counted, outing Titus as not a treestump. I didn't notice this, but it's in the vote counts (according to TPTG ... I don't do VCA so I don't look at vote counts super closely very often)
2.) ToonFighter pointed out that there were 2 more votes available than there should be.
3.) I, fully believing Titus' day 1 claim of being a treestump who could unstump one time at will and get a single day of 2 votes, and also assuming that Titus was being honest when she said she hadn't done it yet, was concerned that there was perhaps a scum role in play that could cause vote shenanigans.
4.) I asked everyone who wasn't already voting to simply self-vote so we could figure out who had the extra votes, whether that be one or two people (I wasn't sure at the time what was more likely)
5.) Titus was paranoid because she thought she hadn't already been outed and thought I was rolefishing, and attacked me.
6.) I responded to Titus by saying that I wasn't asking for role claims, explaining what I was worried about, pointing out that I had seen such roles in the past and seen them hurt the town.
7.) There was an escalation of more and more angry/attack posts from Titus. I tried in several different ways to give her a way to back out.
8.) She rage-claimed instead of getting up and calming down and rationally evaluating what I was doing.
9.) After rage-claiming, she couldn't bear the loss of face and just admit that she has misread my intentions, so she came up with this crackpot theory that I had done all of that to out her (even though TPTG pointed out she was already outed long before, and even though TF first pointed out the discrepency in votes) and to stall the wagon on Lihin. She posited that since Lihin was obvious scum that I must be a scumbuddy doing a horribly obvious job of trying to save Lihin.
10.) Several people pointed out to Titus how bad her logic was and how her biased viewpoint is the only reason she thinks I was rolefishing.
11.) Tired of Titus constantly bringing the issue back up and making snide comments, I spent the rest of the day phase talking in the third person to amuse myself.

12.) Today, Titus still refuses to acknowledge she was wrong, but at least is no longer slinging snide comments at me. She is still clinging to the fantasy of some grand plan she had though, even though TPTG pointed out that her cover was blown long before I got curious.
13.) Bonus Point: Titus wanted Ozgin to cop her and confirm her as pro-town, which is a terrible idea because Ozgin needs to find scum and get them killed to be unkillable the following night phase. "Clearing" Titus would have left him vulnerable, and wouldn't necessarily have even had positive utility since Godfather is a thing.
