@Ffery, Having discussion go on is good because it gets us reads. If we had enough time to boon a target you pick, that's true regardless of the discussion that we had or did not have. If anyone hammers before you select candidates unless deadline is rapidly approaching, it would still be a scumclaim. You are not being cut out.

Eh, I'm pretty indifferent to it, and while part of me does want it just because I think everyone could be scum sometimes, that mindset is probably not healthy and there are town roles that would benefit from it more than mine.

Nah. I've toned that side of me down a lot, both site-wide and in this game especially. So that argument really doesn't wash with me. I don't want you Booned because I think you're scum. It's that simple.

I also don't understand why your stated reason makes any sense for not Booning me- "He is hot-headed ---> Must not give him a night action which he can discuss with his team before using."

While it's not my idea, why is it a terrible one? It's not like the boon is likely to be very useful otherwise. A single player having the knowledge of one other person's sign has little to no gain in most cases. It's far better to use it as essentially another bane.

Because if we really wanted to do that we would just make everyone being scumread claim their signs. Which is a horrible idea. Presumably the person using the boon will have to find their own use for it.

I know exactly why he's asking, and I'm not going to alter the way I olay the game in order to beg him to give me a town read when the damn blinking town lights are blinding my ISO. @TSO, you have not contained your hotheadedness at all. That's why I am townreading you. This is team mafia and thus different in ways I will not fully understand til post game but all things being considered I would go with someone I have no reservations and generally plays a good emotional game early on. Late game, I would pick you over Marquis because you are less vilnerable to keeping feel good reads that are wrong. There is also zero guarantee you listen to your team. Your votile reputation does nothing to sway me.

You should be commended for trying to play better with emotions. I am trying to do the same. Tryig does not equal achieving though.
