Part of how uncomfortable I am has to do with how they defend one another: Sotty defends Kagami based on her observation on Grey backing off when vengeful plan is introduced and defends Hoopla for reasons that aren't exactly clear to me. Kagami defends Sotty for ??? reasons and Hoopla really hasn't done anything at all. Sotty/Kagami have teamed up at a couple of points against Grey, whereas I'm not really seeing anyone who has backed up Grey in the way that I would expect from a scum partner.

So, if Hoopla is scum, those two alternatives seem like pretty strong partner suggestions AND their flips will be more informative than Hoopla's AND I think there are stronger reasons to call those two scum whereas reasons to call Hoopla scum are pretty much just "useless, lurking".

What do you think of my towngroup other than Metal Sonic? Why do you find Metal Sonic scummy (aka is it just incorrect reasoning? You don't get an extremely genuine vibe from his posts at all?).

I keep flipping on Metal, his posts sound fine as far as tone but the content is pretty shady once I look at it.

I am fine with your town block outside of Metal, probably replacing him with Zar if I had to pick right now. I have town reads on the rest of the names.

The one thing I have against Kagami is his lurking. He came in and made a few points I hadn't considered and then vanished. He needs to post more.

Here it is! I understand glancing through another game is -work- and not necessarily something you have a whole lot of time for, but I think it will help you understand where I'm coming from with my read on him, especially if you don't have experience with him before this game.

Now look at his reactions to accusation. Oh wait, there are none. None at all. He goes to painstaking efforts to pretend they don't exist. Even 364 itself he cuts out the entirety of my argument. In 654, my belief that sotty is town is "magic," because he's deliberately establishing a mindset of "attacks on me don't exist."

It's intentional, it's obviously so, and it's a scum strategy.
