I've had strong town reads on Eddie and Grey early game. While my townread on Eddie remained consistent, my GreyICE read crashed like the bad stock markets.

Not only had I have reason to doubt my townread on him, his points against greyICE were more "legit" per se than Kagami et al

Not necessarily. ABR-ZZZX-Me would have formed regardless or not of GreyICE intervention. Whether it would mean that GreyICE is town or scum is a big question, because it's non alignment indicative. I've already mentioned that with the strong townblock that we currently have, scum want to endgame us early OR right now we see GreyICE attempting multiple times to pull power away from ABR and myself, tear down our credibility, rebel.
