Why would cerb scum out himself as ChriVis neighbor? The only reason cerbscum does that, is if he's a godfather, and ChriVi is his partner. That is the ONLY scenario where it makes sense. Cerbscum doesn't know if ChriVi is town or not, given that it's multiball, so can't claim the one-way mason thing safely.

You know what does make sense? Scum wanting to kill an investigator, and avoid confirming any town.

Also, yes, the missing neighbor should claim. At this point, if your partner is arguing against claiming as the other neighbor pair, they are scum, and you should out them. If you're both arguing against it, then you're both scum.

They wouldn't shoot me anyways, hoping to convince me that they're town and thus get to both manipulate me and have whatever information I can offer about my role. Seems pretty bad to let them know who to shoot in end game, when it gives me absolutely no advantage that wouldn't already exist in the early game. Hell, at the point I claimed, it was a target rich environment. I wouldn't even need the extra argument thar scum doesn't want to confirm ChriVi to explain awah not getting killed.

Why would scum shoot you as long as town is "confirming" their own member as town based on your bullshit claim?

They wouldn't. Duh.

You're safe from your opposing scum team until/unless ChriVi dies. ChriVi will only die if town lynches them because your team isn't going to blow your cover. Town isn't going to lynch them as long as they buy your bullshit claim.
