So why did you say "100% accuracy should not be fought against" if you weren't intending on not fighting against it?

You say you're trying to "give me an opportunity to scumhunt" but all you're doing is being condescending to me. I think you're trying to bane me because you legitimately don't have a case to lynch me and you know it. Baning me, from your mouth, gives you an opportunity to "contain" your biggest threat.

I know I did say I was going to bed but now that it's relevant and actually pressing for answers, I don't feel as spammy so

I felt from the beginning that DV was town and haven't really looked at him since my initial read of the game. Zar thinks he's scum.

Regfan recently brought up that FF needs to post today, if not, I should put more pressure there. He's been very nonexistant in this game since he replaced in and to be honest, I forgot about him until I gave my team my most recent reads list to look over. I thought Marquis was town but mostly because he made me also want to post with exclamation marks. >_>

Marquis was a pretty hard townread for me. I don't imagine him as scum bringing up InuYasha as that is my most frustrating scumgame there. Getting me into a pissed off and frustrated mindset with him is not an effective method for being townread generally. It appears really genuine like he wanted to let me in to see his behavior. YnB was uberconfident even as they had an all town wagon on them Day 1 in InuYasha. FF hasn't softened that read. I would like to see more but overall, very likely town.

DeasVail had a strong opening which did not remind me of Gundamn Seed at all. Yet he's hardly posting at all which is alarming. He was a strong town earlier but its waining because of his absence here.

That whole conversation, yes.

Marquis was a head in YnB which I did not know prior to this game. It's an anon hydra but still should be easy enough to compare to. I do not see the arrogance and glibness that YnB had in this Marquis.

I gave you what I got. I tend to ignore people I don't feel strongly about. I'll look back at them tomorrow, though.

Though FF's replacing in and not showing up is concerning. I generally read that as scummy since I've usually only ever seen promises for content with nothing to show for it coming from scum. This is independent of Marquis, though, so I'll try to do an unbias ISO of him tomorrow.

@Titus...since Cheetory brought it up, could you comment on how you differentiate how you dislike meta but continue to compare behaviors to past games? I know you said something about there being a difference between meta and personalities...but, I'd like to hear more about what you find different and how you've been using it to determine alignment-based motivations in this game?

Basically I'm at this point where I have a solid townread by play and two solid townreads via the way this night played out.
Otherwise I'm feeling pretty fucking paranoid about a solid base of this playerlist and it's kind of awful.

Seems so. I compare more to scum processes than town ones. Town ones should have deviations as this is like a eighty player game. This does look like Knight Errant, careful methodical and awkward under pressure.

@Singer, Bussing and tactics are changable. Without a massive effort personality is hard to change. So I look there as a baseline.

More specifically, pie is calling singer out on spending time making everyone she interacts with look bad, and is NOT seeing scumhunting from singer. (Incidentally, pie and I have a VERY high level of synchronization there, too. But for ~reasons~, I'm increasingly convinced this is no coincidence and that she and I agreeing = destiny of a townwin.) There's an entire lack of town motive present, posting for the sake of posting. (Swear to god, this is me paraphrasing pie; she's even stealing my phrasing in her posting.

)

Also, pie specced that GIF was a low-info kill, made to kill an inactive-yet-somewhat-reasonable player, a-la the Mac kill in Tales of You, as to allow the gamestate to be the same as on D1. My own ego likes to think that GIF died as one of my townbloc's pending members, but pie's version is probably more accurate.

Ok, I think this clears up a lot of where we've been misunderstanding each other. I've never used the word meta to differentiate between personality versus tendencies, since I think either can be manipulated, it's just what you trust more. When I ask about meta on players, I want literally just a whole scope of how you see their play to be parallel or not from game to game. For example, players can be more aggressive in certain situations as certain alignments, which I find to be a part of their meta, but you just call it a symptom of their personality.

Am I understanding that correctly?
