I blocked Rhinox last night because I was afraid my reads were way off this game. I'm not 100% Grey is scum either and I use absolute language to try and reassure myself my read is correct. I'm not a very confident town player. I'm pretty good at pretending to be town and looking town, but not so good at actually being town. It doesn't help when you, when Shos, when greyice has an insult at me every third post. We're in a fucking game and you're threatening to blacklist me if I flip town. What in the actual fuck? Players can't have a bad game? yeah I fucked up a bit this game, shit happens. But every time I try to fucking reach out to you a few posts later you go back to shooting me down so I don't know what exactly you expect of me at this point. If you want to lynch me for real that's fine, but you're actively trying to lose the game for the town by dismissing me because you can't even consider that you are wrong. So yes, you are playing bad.

Avoided spending half the day talking about points and bullshit like that (HI IECERINT YOU ARE SITTING ON THE FENCE LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER).

The points stuff came up because the MILLION POINTS thing happened and people were talking about it and someone (TierShift I think) asked who wondered about dead players doing it, and that was me. Then Reck disputed what I said, and so on.

I already said that I think T-Bone makes the most sense as a lynch, but I am trying to think critically about various possibilities instead of just sticking to one perspective. It can make me weaker rhetorically, but this is how I convince myself that I have things right.

I am increasingly paranoid about my Grey read because if he's scum he has no reason to try and 1v1 me when I was doing a fine enough job to get myself lynched. Though Grey is an arrogant player and probably thinks he could walk away from my town flip unscathed anyway.

Iece is riding the fence so hard he's starting to bleed. There has been a lot going on in this day phase and he has to yet to really make a firm stance on anything. It's wishy-washy and to be honest I was townreading him mostly because he wasn't attacking me all game.

Feel like Tier has been let to slide in the background.

I feel like Shos is sticking by his obviously bad read on purpose because he is scum.

Ceph gets a lot of secondary and tertiary scumreads and that's sometimes the sign of scum.

I don't even know about NotSci and Reck.

I'd say a scumteam of Grey and Iece for sure for their respective play, not confident enough on anyone else to group them into scum.

T-Bone being scum basically requires Cephrir scum from my perspective, so the chance of him being scum is pretty low as it excluded lots of other potential pairings.

I'm inclined to agree that Rhinox was obvtown. This is an even more ridiculous target than N1 post-remembering that Eddie was Who/mollie.

He may have felt bullied into claiming accurately by the presumed tracker, presuming that he did get an amnesiac result (which seems like something he wouldn't claim spontaneously, unless the scum all wanted to take turns claiming amnesiac results).

Let's give TierShift and shos a chance to post before ending the day.

I agree with Wisdom's lynch pool. I'm also leaning toward T-Bone being the better of the lynches. T-Bone being scum removes the main reason for my thinking Cephrir could be town.

My perspective today is pretty clear, to the point that I thought that the lynch was obvious enough that I was concerned about the day ended too soon.

That doesn't mean I completely ignore every other possibility just because I have an opinion.

That's just not the way I played.

I used to have a perceived "fencesit" meta for this very reason as town, but people haven't really levied that criticism against me in a year or so.

My thinking yesterday was that if T-Bone was scum, he was scum who had cleared Cephrir and Eddie/Wisdom. I didn't think that happened (e.g., PoE gets to be a thing), so I decided that T-Bone was town.

Hence, if T-Bone is scum, I think he actually cleared a scumbuddy. Of them, I think Cephrir is more likely.

Cabd flipping town and T-Bone continuing to use his roleblock poorly (plus making an error about his actual N1 target) is consistent with T-Bone being scum (the former just because it means I reevaluate stuff).

Though, he erred on the roleblock part rather than the tracker part IIRC, so that isn't quite as solid as I would like it to be. But maybe still solid because he fabricated the RESULT rather than the TARGET in such a case.

Re: using the roleblock poorly, I think T-Bone felt he couldn't lie about his target today due to his knowledge of the presence of the amnesiac tracker.

Usually in Theme games scum have a combination of scum with night actions and scum without night actions, just because there is typically role saturation. The scum who have night actions use them and the scum who don't have night actions perform the kill. Hence, negative tracks are almost always on town.

My thinking about your slot was based on my original inference that he tracked rather than roleblocked you, so you're correct that your slot doesn't have the same relationship to T-Bone's claim after the clarification.

And regardless of whether the clears are factual, the effect of the results (for me at least) was that Wisdom/Eddie and Cephrir were off the lynch table yesterday due to the night game (if accurate) reducing the probability that those players were scum.

I had assumed that a player who hadn't posted yet might have it (cf., wanting to wait til TS and Shos had posted), but everyone's posted now.

Either scum got it and think they don't have to claim it, or Rhinox got it. Or a blocked ability.
