Yes, all those are scummy things, but it makes far more sense to me that they came from a townie who's playing terribly than scum.

No, it actually doesn't. It does for mediocre or decent scum, but it makes perfect sense for actually good scum to play the townie that is too scummy to be scum.

I've played shittily and wove it away as 'well that's my towngame' before and I don't see any reason why T-bone would not be able to.

Asking to be lynched is something I've seen before from scum. It's just like self-voting: it's not a fucking towntell.

Blocking the dead is easy and he probably didn't think he would get so much trouble with it.

Look at the manner in which he claimed. It was apologetic, almost. It was like 'yeah I blocked him because he could be scum and he was under the radar so' instead of 'I actually thought he was scum'. You don't block people you don't believe are scum, especially when you have a real scumread in shos.

Which makes me think that tbone could just have claimed to have blocked shos if they were both scum so they're probably not scum together.

I blocked Rhinox last night because I was afraid my reads were way off this game. I'm not 100% Grey is scum either and I use absolute language to try and reassure myself my read is correct. I'm not a very confident town player. I'm pretty good at pretending to be town and looking town, but not so good at actually being town. It doesn't help when you, when Shos, when greyice has an insult at me every third post. We're in a fucking game and you're threatening to blacklist me if I flip town. What in the actual fuck? Players can't have a bad game? yeah I fucked up a bit this game, shit happens. But every time I try to fucking reach out to you a few posts later you go back to shooting me down so I don't know what exactly you expect of me at this point. If you want to lynch me for real that's fine, but you're actively trying to lose the game for the town by dismissing me because you can't even consider that you are wrong. So yes, you are playing bad.

To me, this is how it looks like. You claimed roleblocked, a 99% scum role in my experience(actually 100 - I never saw a town one). You claimed two night actions, both are completely illogical; one blocks a claimed mailman, and the other - a person who was widely townread(or at least, 0% to be lynched), who coincidentally died that ngiht. After you KNEW supposedly that there is a tracker in the game, you were afraid to have been tracked, so you claimed to have targetted the person who you truly targetted, in case you were. BUT, you didn't block him - you killed him. it's really that easy. it's much MUCH wierder to believe that you suddenly realize you were off, so you blocked someone who you did NOT scumread, and then come day you went BACK to your previous thoughts.

I don't say cleared as an absolute, I say kind of clear because of the dichotomy of none nightactioned scum doing night kills. This point is rendered moot if scum has a strongman or ninja though, for example. I only know what I did and what maybe the result of those actions were. Heck, maybe I was roleblocked on night 1. I don't think I'd receive notification of it.

I definitely agree that your reporting of the N1 content was consistent with you being town. That's why I thought you were town yesterday.

The issue becomes that if you're scum, then you did whatever you did for a reason.

if you were scum and got a track result. you have two options:
1 - you don't share it - and nothing happens until tracker dies/claims.
2 - you claim it. it does NOT clear anyone truly, and you get the cred for having told the town about it.

I don't think he is fully fabricating it; if he is, then in a massclaim he kinda ties himself to a buddy, and that's a dangerous decision to take so early in the game as start of D2.

if you were town and got a track result. you have two options:
1 - you don't share it - nobody knows anything about it, but you know that there's a tracker in the game. if one claim appears of that - you can confirm. if the target claims something that negates it - you can counterclaim. worst thing that happens - you die before sharing - not that big of a deal since it's not truly clearing anyone, and odds are that others can confirm existence of said tracker too, later in the game.
2 - you share it. scum now know there's a tracker, and they need to be careful; they also search for who that is. town and scum know that X has/has no ability, but you don't know shit about it.



so the way I see it, if town, you would want to NOT claim that result, and if scum, you WOULD want that.
now, it may be true that Tbone has just misused his powers and info and is actually town. but when I combine the above with the claim, timing of the claim, content of the claim and night actions, and general play in this game - I'm really sold on T-bone being scum.

The point of an amnesiac tracker is that you can claim results without the source being lynched, balanced by the giver of the information himself being unreliable.
