I think that arguments that start with 'there are too many of this type of role' are fallacious in theme games, simple as that. T-bone or Grey necessarily being scum because of roles is ridiculous, especially considering both of them have quite weak 'investigative' roles.
Grey and T-Bone being town as an isolated world is DEFINITELY possible, but I think it starts to become impossible when there is also a doctor and a town tracker in the game. It only starts being impossible when you take into account the full picture of what's in the game.
Town Roleblocker is not a weak role at all. That shit is OP. It's also kinda swingy in that it gets stronger and stronger as the game goes on, especially if one scum dies early.
Pedit: Wisdom, when I read D3, I wanted to lynch T-Bone upon catching up mainly on the grounds of what you had posted up to that point, so as far as I am personally concerned, it was your take on stuff at the start of the day that made me want to lynch T-Bone (cf., "if you can't see that this is scum, you should quit mafia," etc).
