no it isn't.
you're not gonna get punished for crashing once, twice, or even thrice in a single day.
if you crash every day you'll be punished, as you should be, for ruining a game for nine people every day without bothering to fix the issue.
entering games when you know you have a problem with crashing halfway through makes you no less of an asshole than those that deliberately leave halfway through. you're still entering the game with the knowledge that there's a decent chance of you ruining it for everyone else by dc'ing.

this. I've left maybe 2-3 games in my entire time of league b/c of a crash, and I have never been punished. If it is frequent, you should be punished

If you're getting banned for crashing you must crash A LOT.

As Nikanor said, they don't ban for incidentally crashes. I'm a...chronic leaver...and I have never been punished so you must literally crash every game you play.

Also I'm leveling a smurf, losing a lot on purpose and I literally have only played with other smurfs. I haven't seen 1 new player yet....

I've never gotten a ban, but I did once have to type I AGREE NOT TO LEAVE GAMES after reloading into the game because it crashed during the load screen.

Hmm I think I've gotten a 4 game 5min low priority penalty queue before. But yeah, that was when I left a bunch of games due to the packet loss problem in the north east.

I don't think leaverbuster even gives bans for leaving anymore? I think it just gives you 5/10/20 min low priority queue for a number of games, or something like that.

On another note, I played bard! He's super fun honestly. He has some really nice poke in lane. The heal feels underwhelming though. His teamfighting also leaves something to be desired, mainly because I didn't feel like I can get my passive aa off effectively. But I did have some really good Bard ults!

I only get smurfs when I play on my smurf, but when I play with my friend who's just starting and his friends, I get mostly new players. The system just does a good job of noticing that you're a smurf.
