As town, if you are scumreading the player, you can just work with the "gravitas" player and get him back on track.

It's scum who need to push lynches that are likely to go through.

I understand your perspective, but I disagree with you, especially in the current case, because the act of agreeing with the gravitas player empirically produces an anti-town effect.

I solemnly swear that I have had a similar conversations with other players as town at other times on the site. I think it was maybe ABR in like 2012, but I'm not sure.

Oddly, from 2009-2011, my playstyle was considered completely transparently town.
