So yea, MS hasn't scumhunted with any weight at all, just pretending to be active while trying to make friends, reacting defensively, and outting possible nk targets. We were suspicious of MS from the start, grew more suspicious, turned up the pressure up a little, and apparently something in MS gave. I see ppl here who seem to be better scumhunters than us, take a good hard look at MS. His lie at the end was just the final nail in the coffin.

Relatively new, I have played two newbie games (there is another mini normal which I don't count cause I replaced out very quickly for RL reasons). My first newbie game I was town, it was a town win. My second newbie game I was scum, it was a scum win.
I have never played a theme game before so the setup is a little foreign to me.

zzzx - null. From the little background I have on zzzx I find his play style to come across as scummy because it is quite lurky, but because this seems so common to him I disregard it as alignment indicative and thus have a hard time reading his play. For people who have good knowledge of zzzx what are your feelings on him thus far in the game?

that group of null reads (apart from zzzx which i left separate on purpose) is not that I have no opinion on their play it is just that I don't want to comment yet as I would like to go over their play one more time and check their iso. I've only just caught up in reading so a few players slipped from my mind. My null reads are those players I lost concentration on, so yeah wanting to go back again and then give a better opinion.

I agreed with Plum about you. I agreed about the Metal Sonic jump on Mollie, which looked like it was calculated to push buttons I prefer left unpushed.

I also think there's an interesting link between elusive and Metal Sonic; MS pushes against Mollie and elusive makes what amounts to a personal playstyle attack on her. Elusive seems to forget that I was actually IN DOA and that I was witness to ALL that went on there; she can't have done, though, because she for sure knows that I back up Mollie and that's the game she would have had to have learned that from. Then Elusive decides I'm pinging her scumdar and MS is right there to back her up. It looks to me like hard pushes against Mollie and any allies she might have in this game, of which I would be one.

So, I wouldn't be surprised if MS and elusive were buddies backing each other up here.

ika has definitely made a shift to his play since i last saw him. i have no comment with regard to that. ika isn't a "solid" town read. just a town read. i do not yet have any "solid" town reads in this game, the two players that are close are singer and zzzx at the moment.

We calls it like we sees it. In our limited experience, people who focus on looking for the most town and best scumhunters, specially at the exlusion of genuine scumhunting, tend to flip scum. We are looking for scum first, not who is "most" town. It is an entirely different creature to post a list of ppl you have a town read on alongside scumreads, than it is to go around asking who the best scumhunters (nk target due to being more dangerous for scum to leave in game)are and why.

i think you might be town, but your push on MS is extremely misguided

just as one point, the "ori role" is literally how theme games work - you have a character (ori) with a mafia role assigned to it (and even then it doesn't have to be a standard mafia role, some theme games have more complex or entirely new roles). it's not a fake claim just bc "there's no ori role on the wiki". and you're still misinterpreting how the setup works - the role pools in the first post only apply to actual mafia roles and not character flavors.

i think *if* MS is scum here, it's likely not for any of the reasons you're pointing out. i can break it down in-depth if you want.

We admitted early on that we don't understand the setup, and we still dont fully get it. Also, our very early game playstyle may seem unusual but we have our reasons for this which we will explain at either L-1 or D-2. Suffice to say for now that we wanted to appear slightly scummy. Nobody really bit on that cept for MS, though counts much less due to omgus. Sry if this fails to make sense right now, but everything has a reason even if unclear.
Also, you may see a joke, but all we see is a very bad lie and bad choice to say such a thing.

Bookitty, Mollie tried to play the "U suck at mafia" game. If anyone plays that game with me, as in DOA, I will volley right back. I asked RQS questions, instead of answering them she in her own words "aggressively" treated them as "inferior" and took the first pot shot of the game. It was a low blow, she wasted a post about it instead of just showing her alleged epic scumhunting skills.

I don't mind being speedlynched. I'm more worried about the loss of reputation though. Right now as you can see, I'm banking a lot on Yukari-scum. Not just my role/life in this game, but my credibility as a scumhunter. In Team Mafia (Twin Trap), I lost quite a lot with the Quilford lynch, though I can defend myself with "At least I was going to lynch ETL tomorrow so the game wasn't lost". I'm not sure what excuse I'll come up with if I'm wrong for this game. I'd rather not think about it.
