I don't see how someone could have a townread on Mac. Tere, you related it to Pokemon but Mac's posting in pokemon was a little quiet until the game picked off. I don't see a post you could have used to relate the two games together yet.

2) The amount of times people have spelled ZZZX wrong is absolutely insane.

I probably worded stuff badly, I don't think I would put Mac as a townread yet, precisely - I know his scum game is good so he's policy neutral naughty step for me. But the flow of his scum game is good and I don't think the posts Shakira is poking at (92 and 93? Sorry tabletting is hard) are awkward caught scum. I think he was just making a joke. Looks like similar humour to scumboard in Pokemon for me.

Were you town in DOA for example? I'd prefer just to have a look for myself outside the thread rather than gumming it up with meta.

This is mainly for Anti but just so you folks are aware, as it says in my sig I am V/LA at weekends. Basically I work from home but my husband works in London and he gets really pissy with me if I spend my weekends playing mafia because we own a small farm and there's a ton of outside stuff to do at weekends. Midweek is my relaxation time basically. I try and keep read up in snatches at weekends but long interactions and walls and spreadsheeting (which I do) are basically an impossibility. This did seem awkward in Pokemon a bit and I was slightly nervous about signing up to a large again after that but I <3 Anti and really wanted to play this game. If this becomes detrimental please voice this to Anti or me or in thread. I will be absolutely willing to replace out if this gets too difficult to best help the game.

@Ank, Your read is an OMGUS read based on not liking the fact I'm scumreading you and that I'm unpopular. A read with evidence is something like this post is scummy for reasons, not tunnelling via OMGUS and saying case sucks so scum. I could always be wrong, as some players can attest. That's not alignment indicative.

You've been hinting across the last couple games we've played that you have been assessing my play as either alignment, so the fact that you're trying to discredit my push on you when you already know that I get strong reads from being attacked as town is incredibly telling.

I like it. Pretty good reason. I feel I did a bit more than just actively lurk(pretty sure challenging shakira over their case on mac was me actively participating in a discussion and analyzing how someone else reacted to it), but I can understand how someone would get that impression. I actually just hate early game because it's a bunch of ignorant people trying to convince one another that they're actually not ignorant. Early game play (generally) only gains relevance in the context of mid-late game knowledge, in my opinion.

I actually wasn't frustrated with a Shakira lynch, although I do feel like Shakira's case on Mac is town confirmation biasing, rather than scum manipulation. I just wanted to know why the people who were on that wagon were on it. I wanted to see if they were going to say "RVS" "Sheeping x who I think is town" "Biggest wagon" or actually give a reason based on their limited exposure to the slots posts in this game. Of course, nobody actually responded.

I don't really understand why people even bother thinking about reads that they can't explain. If you can't explain your read, then it's not going to actually convince anyone else, and is thus useless(assuming VT, of course). You should be paying equal attention to EVERYONE, so it isn't even like being suspicious of someone is doing anything positive for the town, it's just making you more likely to tunnel and take things out of context because of your bias.

D Orbital Shapes

d orbitals are wavefunctions with ℓ = 2. They have an even more complex angular distribution than the p orbitals. And, yes, I suppose mentioning reads you can't explain puts you on the record as being for or against someone at a certain point in time, but what else does it do? Give someone else a reason to ask you: Why do you feel this way about some person? I suppose that's good, in that it encourages participation by others and shows everyone what they're interested in hearing about. Alright, so, mentioning reads you can't explain is reasonable, sure. Keeping reads you can't explain in the forefront of your mind I don't see as useful.
