You have provided nothing worth agreeing with here. For a fan of meta analysis, you have a short time frame. The last time we "worked together well", I was scum so far up your ass you might as well have been talking for me but for that DV read. I was scum.

I just find it funny how she says she's the most useful player to the town when she doesn't do anything but buddy a couple people, do a bunch of gambits that don't accomplish anything, and scum read at least one person who is town.
The only other time I've seen a player this arrogant in their reads was Bulbazak in my newbie game with him. He also pushed me. And he also flipped scum.

Mastin- just because someone who knows you doesn't take your word on reads doesn't mean they're scum. I don't always trust you. If I disagreed on Mac I'd push him. If I didn't have other places I'm looking, I'd be pushing him anyway. There is 0% of a problem with wanting a second opinion and not worshiping your word as gospel truth. Also, I'm roughly 80% on Sonic and Z not being scumbuddies, so I think they deserve a reread.

Sonic/Titus- You know Mastin. You know this is completely within the realm of Mastin's personality. For better or worse, this is town mastin browbeating you with her reads. I don't want you to cave to it, but the argument that she's scum based on her yelling at you for not trusting her is hilarious. And for the love of God, please stop trying to instigate a fight with her, Titus.


WRT reading mastin, I've got a super secret tell that I use on sthar8, and it's never failed me. Mastin and sthar8 are basically the same person. They're both too charismatic and self confident for their own good, and they both approach the game in the same way. She's town. And to add to that that her thoughts and mine seem to be fraternal twins, well, leave my mastin alone so she can talk to me about who scum is.

I played a game with Majiffy. Shame he got banned. I don't see any similarity in game style with Mastin. Nor does it really matter to me.
This is also my third game with Titus. I correctly read her in my past two games. Let's see if I'm right a third time.
I don't accept the defense, "they're playing to their meta" when someone is acting scummy.

@LC, You are right that I know Mastina. I don't doubt that she's trying to "browbeat" what she wants. Yet, I don't see that as town. Town Mastina, I can track reasons for, even if I disagree. Here, she's refusing to provide anything that resembles a fully fleshed out read.
She is refusing to get on Hiplop for no reason. She thinks his posts are terrible but refuses to vote. Bins has this same issue too of not voting hiplop which is why Sonic wants them voted too.

Right now, if I was letting myself be totally paranoid, I would state this is a VCA stunt and another vote or two puts them at the point of no return.

Titus, what exactly about mastin not having real content and reasons in the first few days is scummastin. What you're seeing here is her Page 1-10 play. She hasn't been here until just now. Read her content now and tell me you don't see reasoning. Because I see her making exactly the same conclusions I am.

Yup, that's town mastin. Note the similarities. She doesn't give a lot of why, but she does give a lot of what. Early, strong townreads. Early weak scumreads that she pushes as if they're modconfirmed. Arrogance.

Also, worth noting in the ISO for mastin in that game, her flowchart needs a caveat. She can't beat me. We've won together. We've lost together. But I've never lost a game to mastin. It's like I'm her kryptonite. So if you think mastin's scum, get me to replace in.

I played with him in my second game (Both town). First non-newbie game. Here
I mildly suspected him and ended up compromise lynching him when I couldn't get Reino lynched on day 2. I got to hammer two scum in lylo this game though. Fun times.

@Lyingcat: Uggh. That town game from Mastin looks just as awful in that game as this one. She seemed to be just as wrong in that one too. Is she actually just like this all the time?
How would you expect her to act as scum then? If she's made herself a reputation of being super arrogant, she's obviously going to act the same way as scum. It would not be hard to do at all. If anything, she's a player who's built up a reputation to always seem scummy and put in no work, so when she is actually scum she can get away with it.

I want hiplop lynched still. If he flips town, I'll reconsider Mastin.

I don't really want to give away my method of reading mastin for fear that it will stop working. But no. She puts in effort. Sometimes she's wrong. Sometimes she's absent. But when she's in the thread she'll be one of the most productive players.

One suggestion for things to look at with mastin is how she talks to the people she knows well. Mollie, antihero, ETL, me. If she's trying to manipulate us or work around us. She's probs scum. If she's reacting genuinely, or upset because we're not working with her (see titus) then she's probably town.

I voted you initially as a "sure, why not" vote. Like, "You know, they're probably going to be scum anyway, so I might as well give them the formal greeting they deserve." of sorts. It was just a random vote, though, at the time. Your actions, like this, have since made it solid. But the Mac townread is much stronger than my scumread on you--I didn't say you were 100% scum, now, did I?

Irrelevant. I had already, well before the vote in the first place, said Mac was town. The timeline isn't, "Vote: Mac", "Mac's town", "K, Vote: Cerb"; it's "Mac's town", "Vote: Mac", "No, seriously, Mac's town", "Unrelatedly, Vote: Cerb".

Does this feel genuine to you?
From what I knew of Mastin outside this game, she always struck me as humble, maybe a little self deprecating even. This seems so fake that I can't fathom a genuine thought process behind this.
