In Harlan County, your past is impossible to shake off. The death of Bo Crowder has the Bennett clan itching to expand their weed business and fill the power vacuum. The remaining Crowders, be it by blood or marriage, face defining choices about who they want to be. The Black Pike mining company is moving in for local land and threatening the area's insular way of life. In the middle of it all, deputy US Marshal Raylan Givens risks being dragged back into family feuds that beg for bloodshed.
