That's the point of copping the previous cop everyday.

The Weak Cop cops us. We'll announce who we would check in case the inventor goes off script. This forces scum to kill us, or get a new conftown every day. There's a chance of a godfather (weak cop might be subject to godfather not sure here but I don't think so).

If two people die tonight (which will not happen), the presumption would be that we are scum.
If one person dies tonight, then its most likely that the person checked (in this case us) was town or GF. If we're town, then SC can only be town or godfather. The only exception would be the cop being blocked or healed. Given no healer, we can rule this out. So the scum would have to argue that there was a lot of roleblocking going on to minimize the number of night kills or have the NKs dictated.

I'm a little less rigid on that, but it is something we can clear up by asking the mod. A godfather comes back as "town" to cops and weak is just a modifier so if a "cop" role thinks that a godfather is "town" then not dying makes sense. This is an interpretation question as we could reach an alternative scenario where...

Cop checks GF doesn't die because of a) Mechanic or b) healing.

Mod: If a weak cop targets a hypothetical godfather, will that player die according to the weak role?
