Sounds 'bout right to me. Small question, though. If an inventor gets the weak cop invention and fears their target is scum, do they deviate from the chain or risk their life?

Busted logic but highlights a possible flaw in my plan.

How do you reconcile the implication that this wagon is on town with the fact that it could have easily and reasonable been pushed into a lynch, yet wasn't? All 4 scum were already on the wagon? 3 and the one left didn't want to associate? 2? 1?

Because Sabotage Mafia called; it wants its D1 back. Same situation here. Or if you'd prefer, Signs and Void's D1's second half (CDB and Esp). Titus if she were town would have realized this already.

I'm getting close to caught up, but when I'm caught up, I still have work to do.

I want hiplop dead. It would solve so many interactions.

This argument will never, EVER hold weight unless the person making it backs it up with hard, HARD links on a large number of players for

Signs and Void isn't this game. Don't act like it is. We have obvious scum in Hiplop that wasn't lynched due to scum apathy. In Signs and Void, we had a no lynch because the conftown kept dicking around. There was nothing stopping or playing with lynches other than you refusing to bus Hiplop.

You love painting every scenario as leading to me scum. Town Mastina investigates, you haven't investigated at all?

Why, the weak cop cannot gift themselves, so that's not a problem. Not ideal, but the idea is to generate conftowns/ That works.

for there to be a scum on Bins, it's just not particularly probable. There's a minimum of two scum on hiplop, chance of more. (My reads on basically everyone there except Tere and Ankamius aren't very strong.) Shakira's probably conftown in spite of Sonic Boom being scum (I don't think they'd lie about their target/result given that Titus likes to gambit with as much truth as she can, and Sonic might do the same if not for that reason than for his petrifying fear of trackers/watchers/jkers/rbers all of which are possible for the town to have depending on the third inventor), and I'm still saying Mac's town. But that's a very solid pool we've got there with the bolded. Fits nicely.

Precisely, because--being unable to self-target--they're not exactly going to be a Bulletproof Doctor.

I find it unlikely a commuter could both commute and investigate someone.

I'm pretty sure Anti said that you could use all inventions at once. I'll check in a bit. The question's more on whether with it being a commute, if the weak cop would work. (Which, admittedly, I don't know about.)

How about no. There is no reason this would be useful other than back calculating who would have sent it.

No. The obvious town benefit is using it to calculate continued night actions, in addition to tying down whether it is town or scum controlled early. If no town player claims to have received the invention, and the inventor is town, they have a functional guilty. If the inventor is scum, we can use the additional information to further plan.

Why would a player not admitting to be given an invention be a functional guilty? How would the knowledge of who received the invention but not what it is help in your analysis.
Anyway, I'll read your strategy for power roles.

It bothers me that hiplop voiced disappointment about getting lynched, while he was voting for ZZZX for most of the day's end, who obviously had no chance of getting lynched yesterday. At least one person town read him for voting ZZZX rather than joining a bandwagon to save himself, but I think a.) hiplop is savvy enough to realize the suspicions that an opportunistic strategy would attract and b.) as town, he shouldn't care if he's viewed as opportunistic, he should only care about survival. I'm starting to think he might be scum. His vote for Bins only strengthens my suspicion:

In the nick of time, hiplop quickly changes a read from town to 'totally scum' for weak reasoning and it just so happens to be the only other person that has a chance at getting lynched. He couldn't just admit this is a survival vote, but that's most likely what it is...

My plan isn't to go, "Hey, I got the cop invention, and I targeted X" either.
My plan is, BEFORE THE NIGHT HAS BEGUN, "Hey, if I were to receive the cop invention, I'd target X."
They die, then we've got a guilty.
They live, sure, them claiming will narrow down who the cop inventor is, but every. plan. suggested. today. is doing nothing different. If anything, my plan is helping to OBSCURE who the cop inventor is.
