Cerb, I have already explained multiple times why the Aristo bandwagon is garbage and people aren't listening. Do I need to do it again?
I said people need to vote for someone that has a chance of getting lynched (Kari OR Aristo) and then mentioned that I strongly prefer a Kari lynch. Obviously I prefer an Aristo bandwagon to a no-lynch (so I'll switch my vote there if I have to), but if I see another competing bandwagon that I think is way better, then YES, I'm going to push for it. Can't believe you're even questioning me on this.
Why are you voting Aristo?"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. -Wayne Gretzky"

Your stated reasons for not going after Ari is because you don't like the reasons given for it. I don't see how there's any more/less reason for going after Kari over Ari, other than the fact that Kari has given legitimate reasons for being so inactive, and Ari hasn't. I responded earlier that(for reasons I need to go reread my own post to recall since all this mastin v you stuff has been going on) I felt Aristophanes play was scummy, and if not for the early play of mac which I viewed as town, his slot would be firmly scum to me. Because of that early play, it's null, and so is kari. As a result, I'm choosing to vote with the two people i view as conftown.
That is why i'm voting Aristo over Kari.- Sonic Boom

Exactly. That sums up my feelings on the slot as well.- Wickedestjr

↑ Wickedestjr wrote:Cerb, if it's really a toss up for you, then why not vote for the player that already claimed VT AND didn't have a townish predecessor?
The fact that they already claimed VT doesn't factor into my decision making process at all. I understand your thought process - claimed VT, minimal loss if they're town, scum wouldn't shoot at the slot anyways because they know it's not a PR, so just lynch it - but i'm basing my decision on likelihood to be scum, not minimizing damage to town if we're wrong.
I already explained the effect of said townish predecessor on my read.
So, given those things, I quite simply would much prefer to be on the wagon which was pushed both earlier and now, by conftown slots.- vezokpiraka

What? I'm not even defending it hard? Wicked asked me why I was voting for that over Kari, and I answered his question. Both wagons are equally valid. I'm on the one I'm on because I feel it's less likely to be a scum driven wagon due to the presence of players I view as conftown on it.- Wickedestjr

You said Mac's townishness only countered Aristo's scummy behavior. But I don't believe that you find any of Aristo's play suspicious because;
a.) you haven't given any reason for suspecting Aristo
b.) you have had him in the null/town "will not vote this slot today" territory up until you decided to vote for him
If you genuinely found Aristo's play suspicious then I would think that you'd use that as your reasoning rather than "conftown is voting him".

What's your read on Aristophanes, assuming Mac was never in the picture?
If mac was never in the picture he'd be null to nullscum. Promises to catch up, and supposedly does, but doesn't actually post any analysis. Doesn't seem to be doing any real scumhunting, just parroting peoples opinions and asking them why they have those options(which he only did once, with no actual followup, and complains about naked votes.
That was why i felt aristophanes play was scummy. I did misremember how strong the read was there, I thought I said nullscum to scum, not null to nullscum.- Wickedestjr

The tiebreaker is the conftown being on that wagon. I was on the other wagon, until I realized that both conftown were on the other one, and I wanted to know why. They both told me why. Sonic's reason was crappy, SC made me think about it and I decided if the two slots were equally likely to be scum to me, one through town play followed by scum play, and the other through complete lack of content, I'd prefer to support the wagon that had players I believe to be town on it. The *only* thing about this wagon that makes me question it is flubber being here.-

Cerebus- those two investigated town. They aren't confirmed town. You (and several others) are mentally closing the door to any type of investigation fuckery with your mindset, and it's that type of mimdset which loses games. Since scum, as well as everyone else KNOW who the investigation target is going into the night by following this stupid plan, it's extremely easy for scum to jack with the results if they are being targeted. It's that level of moronicy (talking about the plan, not any player) that makes the plan clearly a scum strategy.
And next time I'm trying to trip a player up to see if something shakes out- let that player answer for himself. Answering for him just lets him skate on by on what others have said. Jeez.
VOTE: Kari

An Cereberus- for you to be calling me confbias when you clearly see the trail of evidence I'm following (which is clear since you laid out step by step exactly what im thinking the evidence points to) is egregious. Voting for the people you believe to be scum based off of what the evidence points to is the exact opposite of confbias. That's what you're doing by labeling those two "conftown". Why should a man keep town reading one who sees where a man is coming from in exacting detail while labeling it something it's not?- Kari

Just because I'm aware of the scenario you believe to be occurring here doesn't mean I think it's likely.
In regards to labelling them as conftown. If you'll look at my earlier posts, every time I mentioned this phenomenon I specifically said "as close to conftown as possible" because that's what they are. I just got lazy and stopped typing that whole thing.
For the record, I don't consider anyone truly conftown until a flip shows them as such.
As far as your request to not respond to things in thread that I feel like responding to is concerned...naw. I'm going to respond to whatever I want.-

You thinking it's likely is irrelevant. You know I'm following a logical trail (or you wouldn't have been able to duplicate my thoughts so perfectly) so calling it confbias is scummy as hell.
And if you're town, you'd know when to let things play out-for the benefit of town. And though you obviously saw what I was on with and stepped on it anyhow makes me think you were covering for a scum buddy before they fell completely in that hole.
We can flash wagon this too.-

Jaqen, nobody would ever NK you. If you're right, they wouldn't NK you because of the reasons given. If you're wrong, you're way more helpful to scum than town with your focus on the wrong slots. It doesn't actually matter if your'e right or wrong, you're mislynch bait either way.
pedit: you're overestimating me. I just responded to something I felt like responding to. I actually don't even know what play of yours I messed with.
Me thinking it's unlikely is wholly relevant. I'm perfectly capable of looking at a situation, weighing the possible options, and then discarding the ones I don't think are likely. Just because I don't think something is likely and am thus not letting it influence my choices, doesn't mean I'm unaware of it.
The confbias is the fact that you're ONLY considering the course of action you suggested as likely. You aren't considering that anything else is possible. - Cerberus v666
