assuming SC received a targeted ability, as seems likely from my read of their apology. Is there any reason scum would give an invention to someone who is/was likely to be conftown? I can't think of anything at least, so that leads me to believe the unknown invention is also coming from a town source. Now, the commute. I really can't see any utility coming from this being utilized by scum as a gift to town, but...I feel like a scum inventor is likely, and the commute thus seems to be the one which most likely came from scum.

A man is loving this self clear. However, if this one is actually flipping town a man is tunneling LC until that one is dying, drying, turning to dust, and blowing in the wind.

I'm also not sure what the relevance of my thoughts on the commuter inventors alignment is. I was shitting in your insistence that there was definitely redirection in play. This is also something I said earlier, but I'll repeat it for you. If the scum knew they'd be investigated and controlled the commute inventor, all gifting it to the likely target would do is deny them a free kill on town (assuming we're all announcing targets etc, as planned ). There is nothing good in that for scum. Weak cop means the person investigating, if they receive a guilty, will never be able to tell town. If the target commutes, they live, and their target gets lynched anyways because it's extremely anti-town to commute when you know you're going to be investigated.

Also...ate? Emotions have no place in this game. I deal in facts. I don't see any way for me to confirm to sonic that I know exactly what invention I gave them without exposing said invention to scum. Without confirming it, Sonic just has to decide if I'm telling the truth or not

Also, before you go off half cocked...can you tell me under what circumstances scum in my slot would make this play? I'm sure you'll be able to manage the mental gymnastics necessary to convince yourself this would somehow make sense as scum, I'm just interested in seeing how you manage it.

For the rest of the rational ones out there, the only question you should have about me isn't "is he an inventor or not". It is "Is he a scum inventor." The fact that I'm the inventor im claiming to be should be obvious.

You are right though, in my laying out of options I forgot about the weak modifier. Whoever gifted you knows the modifier on your power I would assume, so you can't lie about that...so there's no place or reason for a godfather in a game with weak cop powers.
