I think that your vote is on BBT currently (replacing Axwell). Perhaps you'd like to move it to a different player?

Oh dear, this is super weak. You realise I have just finished a game with you, right? I had no problem understanding any of your posts in that game soo....yeah, that's a scummy excuse.
↑ Lowercase wrote:
Lee- Previous slot holder votes ZS to L-1 and bounces. New slot holder comes in, complains about low site posting rate and then doesn't post anymore.
ZS- he was wagoned early on; he responded to the pressure somewhat, then after the wagon dissolved he just vanished. Did he ever finish that reread?
I'd rather not lynch any of these slots; can I get your thoughts on Yuri?
↑ YurikoJasmine wrote:
how is my choice of words not related to my language skills? do you think I would deliberately choose (scmmily) "generic" words to arouse attention?
Marklin and Axwell, who haven't posted all along. I didn't want to end d1 without everyone at least saying something. Why choose to ask this now?
Of course not, you chose those words with the intention of looking pro-town. It just doesn't work like that though.
Also, you said 'us' when you were talking about waiting for people to post. Here;
↑ YurikoJasmine wrote:Let's not hammer until the two of us get to say something (or get replaced)
'Us' implies you included yourself in the two people you were talking about. You also followed this on by asking a question; further implying you were talking about yourself.
Can you clear this up for me?
↑ YurikoJasmine wrote:I barely realized that mansonP has already been replaced. his replacement came in, drop a word and then going away. he's cherry-picking people to comment on, saying i'm not of use and conveniently commented on necargo's "RV" which was already much discussed, while not adding anything to it. Even worse, he's gone. As if I would need more reasons to vote him.

Yeah, Lowercase mentions lynching one of DW/Zero and you're all over that, huh? This is opportunistic scum, looking for an easy wagon to jump on.

Yeah, I noticed that after my last post but didn't think it warranted another post to change it.
UNVOTE:
As for Yuriko, I agree that her behavior looks pretty scummy. For whatever brownie posts it's worth, I also noticed that her dwlee vote was a transparent attempt to redirect pressure. She could easily be scum; I wouldn't be upset if we lynched her. I'm not willing to commit to it at this point.
I was kind of hoping we would get more out of ZS though. It seemed like he wanted to get into the game early on, so the fact that he has apparently flaked likely indicates dissatisfaction with his role, if you catch my drift. This is true to some extent for honest as well, but part of what bothers me with ZS is that the last thing he did was promise some kind of reads list. I find it much easier to make an off-the-cuff post about my actual thoughts than to make up reasonable fake thoughts, and I suspect that may be true for ZS as well. If this is why he isn't posting, then that's pretty scummy.
I'm not really considering voting dwlee at this point.- Lowercase

First, thanks to fferyllt for having me. Glad to join in here!
On to business:
UNVOTE: Honest
Upon my first read over, the player who has stuck out the most to me in a bad way is YurikoJasmine.
I don't like the sequence at #54 & #60, where she calls Necargo out for putting Honest at L-1 in #54 (never mind the fact she was part of an even earlier L-1 wagon, and didn't say anything about that one), but then waits 4+ hours until posts #60 to attach some flimsy rational and make the vote. This isn't progression of a read, it was testing the air at #54, and then waiting until after Draynth and Dierfire also pressure the same thing before placing the vote.
Additionally, her posts at #98 & #99 are strange as well, as in #98 she says she would not have voted Honest if he hadn't already been L-1, but then doubtcasts Honest in the next post (#99).
Additionally I concur with BBT's #153.

This. We shouldn't hammer Honest yet because he is a nul read to many, because many can't tell intentions when a person posts a total of 2(-4) words.
I like this post and not just because I am the replacement for Honest and am in the lead in the vote count, but because the motivation behind it is likely to be town. Scum would likely prefer to let the null player hang himself without any effort on their part. In an experienced game I might assune that this statement could be made by Scum to look more town, but this is a newbie game and while not everyone here is a newbie, your tactics must be targetted at players with the appropriate experience for them to work.- Mathilda

I'm also going to unvote Blue Blooded Toffee (mmm toffee ...). He seems to be interrogating necargoface quite well, looking at discrepancies or contradictions in post #102.
UNVOTE:
I also like Draynth's post interrogating necargoface in #93 although sometimes the attack seems a little contrived regarding the definition of an RV. But he raises good points regarding necargoface thinking that Honest (now me) was most probably scum whilst at the same time admitting that there is very little to go on. It could be seen as a way of reinforcing people's perceptions of someone without really saying anything in particular.
Although I liked how necargoface said that I shouldn't be hammered just yet in my previous post (#164), on further reflection, this isn't really saying much. On the one hand he's saying what we all know. We shouldn't be hammering anyone just yet. The whole point of random votes and lynch wagons is to put pressure on them to talk, to give information and for scum to slip up and reveal themselves. On the other hand this is a newbie game and we've had a few replacements already so we can't make any assumptions about the experience level of all the other players. For what it's worth though, I probably would have votes for Honest as well if I was another player.
I don't have a read on anybody else yet. It's confusing when the players keep changing. Give me time though and I shall supply some.- Mathilda

You started off well in my estimation when you joined by drawing attention to false attacks regarding RVs and you didn't jump on a bandwagon just because it was there, but I am suspicious of the desire for a policy lynch. We're making progress in this thread and you're suggesting a policy lynch instead of one based on evidence. The problem with a policy lynch is that it is essentially a no fault lynch. This means that it's safe for scum. When challenged they can point to the policy and say that it was for the good of the game.
Lynching a lurker should always be a fall back position when we really can't decide on who to vote for. We're certainly not at that position yet and I feel that we are making progress interrogating people, seeing if they are pretending to help town but in reality not saying anything interesting, and whether they are subtly contradicting themselves.- necargoface

Mathilda's first posts seem town oriented and legitimate. A good way for a replacement to enter. Adding real content is always nice.
UNVOTE: Mathilda
Pretty null read on Gratuitous because I had a pretty null read on ZS and Gratuitous's first post didn't change that.
Welcome you two! It's nice to see replacements making an impact, so that's good.
On why I didn't assume that Honest was making an RV: Rv's should have some form of text surrounding them, because an RV is supposed to saysomethingabout you, whether explicitly or implicitly. A completely naked vote can't do that because there cannot be anything personal about the post. If Honest had some nonchalant context (even such as a simple "Hi there") then it could be an RV, but RV posts should have some content other than the two words used to vote, especially if there is no following content. Honest's vote seems odd to me because it had no context; It had nothing surrounding it, not even a non-conspicuous "hi".- BlueBloodedToffee

I think I disagree Necargo. I think when a vote is accompanied by absolutely no context it's safe to assume that the majority of the time it's a random vote; if there was reasoning it's usually attached to the vote.

I have no problem understanding you; you're trying to insinuate that I do. I'm saying your posting is scummy and your saying it's because English isn't your first language and I'm saying I have played with you before and had no problem understanding you so why would I now?
Your using 'bad English' as reasoning to excuse your scummy posts. Like, how the hell do you mix up 'us' and 'everyone'. Also, you couldn't have been talking about everyone because you implied you were talking about Axwell and Mark...you keep changing your story.
Yuri seriously needs votes.Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- Mathilda

I've been through all the pages now looking specifically at Yuriko's posts. What she says about being a non-native speaker and posting from a phone do hold up to scrutiny. I lived in Germany myself for three years and know what it's like when you get to the point where people can understand you and it takes them by surprise when you make a grammatical mistake. And sometimes it's just the ending of a word that changes to make it a verb or a noun or past tense or whatever. I've started posting on a tablet myself and it's certainly not as conducive to long posts as having a keyboard. So for that I can excuse Yuriko's short one liners that could be deemed evasive and committal. If I was posting in German I would be doing the same thing even with a keyboard.
I am concerned though about her comment regarding the two of us. The OP says that there are two Mafia. It could be a freudian slip (very easy to do in mafia and I have done it myself). Her post #111 isn't particularly convincing when she claimed she was referring to people that had not posted or were inactive. She herself has been quite active since the beginning of the game (posts 5, 8, 21, 28, 29, 34, 48, 54, 60, 70, 71, 72, 73, 97, 98, 99, 101, 111, 113, 135, 143, 143, 144, 149 and 157)- YurikoJasmine

I disagree aswell. First of all, an RV is far more likely to be a naked vote compared to a serious vote. A serious vote with no reasoning is dumb and scummy. An RV that has no reasoning is just an RV"just got my hands in cooking! feel free to give me suggestions. So far completed: noodle in soup, noodle stuffed clam over noodle, red white and bluedle american noodle, hot brown noodle"
