Believe me, I am not voting boon. I can confirm that he acts like a goof as town and mostly only as town. If he were scum, I think he would be posting more serious content in order to let no one scumread him. I have read his games and so far, this is what I can tell from him. Most posts is not indicative of scum, but it does leave a big fat trail. It would also serve to reduce the reading going forward. I believe there have been a few comments that this game is longer than most.

Hey, sorry for the slow start, busy weekend, reading up now.

In defense of me posting elsewhere, thats only low-effort phone-posting in a game near end-game which didnt require much of me.

He only comes on at this specific time to defend accusations against him, which only scum would do to look less suspicious.

The reason BBT is top of the list is because in my experience, I find myself better off just town reading him until I figure out if he's scum. It just makes everything less confusing.

Just looked over absta's ISO. Doesn't look that bad to me. Apart from the whole "scum dont scum-hunt" which is junk.

To be honest, I got thrown off by Boon, and to some degree Keyser taking up most of the space during my read.
Ive gotten a town-lean out of checking back on you, trying to read up on redFF, which I'm not lovin atm.

Dont have much to go on for RC, and I'm not one to throw stones here, but I got a pin on his name for the time being.

I should probably check myself for wanting Boon dead, if its just for being anti-town, and he certainly seems to have a reputation for it, but in isolation he looks scum.

The downsides of reading in ISO rather than the back and forth.
Ego protection demands that I answer 'No, that's not overtly scummy why should I change my stance in light of new information'.
My first pass thought is that it looks like just a communications breakdown. Unless his brilliant scum strategy is to never give any specifics on his reads, I don't see overt scum there.

I can understand from your chair why you feel it's scummy. Your questions look like reasonable attempts to communicate and Banakai is just failing to respond in expected ways. I'm just not sure irrationality and communications breakdown equates to scum here.
He posted a big long thing in about 690 that appeared to be a response to your questions. It's his next post after your back and forth.

I don't agree that it was a "communications breakdown". Banakai seemed to deliberately dodge your fairly simple questions. Now, in risk of upsetting Zoronos, as I might be sitting squarely on the fence again, I would agree with him that it doesn't 'equate' scum, but not being able to answer simple questioning about your own statements should surely be considered worthy of suspicion. He did indeed follow it up with an extensive summary of Boon's circus act, but that doesn't really explain the preceding interaction.

Why is it as we get closer to deadline, even MORE players start making awful statements?
