If you haven't gotten rid of Pando by now definitely make that a top priority. It's nothing more than bloat ware/malware at this point and the client download doesn't use it anymore.

I had thought they changed the rule to "abstinence for 5 years" or something. Which is still goofy, but different from the old 1977 rule.

There was either talk or definitive action towards making it 1 year, but that basically means non-sexual relationships for an unreasonably long time for people who just want to donate blood.

TF's always strong in a meta with little to no assassins. Considering it's his biggest weakness. Throw an assassin in lane? TF dies, and can't use his ult appropriately.

I said little to no - not none. Ban away the Zed (which is doable), and all of a sudden TF is fine.

I'm also going to answer your question with another question. Why is Shen good when Gnar and Rumble (some of his biggest lane counters) are?

Imo I think the meta shifts away from the heavy CC junglers that make immobile midlaners possible- little protection up front, and I think it will turn into more a dive oriented meta purely because in comparison to where our meta has been, or to a splitpush meta (especially with the changes to the inner turrets where they no longer lower your damage).

It's in part because as time goes on, the new jungle items keep coming out and then we look to see which does the most. Cinderhulk's been out the better part of the season and has been tuned down repeatedly. Devourer is brand-spanking new, and as per the norm for something new, is generally overtuned. So it would be rather desirable for teams to get their fully stocked Devourer, which is sped up by early dragon plays, which are again set up by catching people out which is part of why I am naming Twisted Fate and Zed, the insane midgame.

The devourer champs are all very dive oriented, going after the carries which is why I think that Lulu and Lissandra come back to the limelight- along with Lissandra's current PBE buff, both are control mages and will be good at zoning/helping their teams kite.

And, in counter to those who counter those who help their teams kite, we have nocturne, with his spellshield and gapcloser, we have unstoppable force, and we have changed skarner which is basically "Hey, you want to run really fucking fast? GO" to the point where he flashes a carry, is sped up by his passive and his W, team jumps on said carry and woooooooooo.

Sivir is the ADC because of the utility and the stampede comps, the wanting to overtake the enemy team as well as her spellshield keeping her relativel safe. Corki's burst and waveclear will help keep off the devourer champs, and Ashe because again, kiting, and her "ult whoever dives you back off" is going to be fantastic. Ashe is potentially the number one, because lolkiting.

Thresh and Nami are to protect the ADC, and Leona's to try and lock down someone for the jungler to kill.

So basically, the meta shifts to a more heavy dive oriented meta, a lot of RUN REALLY FAST AT PEOPLE AND GET THEIR CARRIES, so control mages, kiting, and early dragons become more prevalent.

(also to note udyr can still solo dragon pretty early in the game)

Also part of the issue with cinderhulk is that a lot of the champions who have done really well with it have been nerfed because of how well they do with it.(rip sejuani)

I don't forsee many if any Warrior enchantments in the jungle.

Maybe we'll see some AP junglers in there, but I think it's far more likely it's the devourer show.

Not what I meant. I was wondering why both TF and Zed (different roles) would BOTH be really good all of a sudden. Clearly it meant the meta favoured assassins in someway to Ns

@ns, I see what you mean. Only one who doesn't fit in the explanations of dive comps to me is Vlad? I guess he's decent at countering dives so that's why I'd imagine

Vlad is one of the best 1 v many fighters in the game. His W, E and R all do AoE damage. Particularly, if people are swarming you, it's the kind of AoE that's brainless to hit. His pool makes him invincible no matter how many people are trying to attack him. And on the OTHER hand, he does really well when he dives - hemoplague and pool are both amazing abilities for divers.

His principle problem is poke; but yeah, if the meta turns to dudes just running at each other and diving a lot, Vlad will probably become pretty dominant (especially if people stop the bad vlad wota/lucidity madness)

maybe this new academy vlad skin is avatar worthy, Nosferatu has been the only good vlad skin for a long time but I have high hopes

but yes I am a fervent vlad fanboy, actually ever since mid has changed to be more vlad friendly (average range of engagement has gone down, morellos is less popular) I've preferred him there to top and now I'm kind of trying to just only play vlad as much as possible.

I tried clearing IE settings/data and checked for Pando (not on my PC at all).

.NET 3.5 won't update because its already up to date, confirmed. I even found it in my system settings and enabled all of it. Still nothing.

I could try video card drivers but not sure how that could be it. I think I recall someone on a support site mentioning upgrading some c++ platform? Either that or DirectX issue? Riot never responded to my support post >.>
