This is a newbie slot and is open to anyone except a newbie in his or her first game.
I was afraid you ended wit another replacement infested plague, but realized it's just 1 slot. Phew! Your games tend to have very little blood (i.e. night kills)
I would rather play something from scratch this time. Living the full experience! (still waiting on my /in newbie from days ago)
Things I've learned.
1. It's just a game, have fun.
2. Don't waste time on people who think you are scum. Ignore them and keep scum hunting.
3. Don't take everything so personal.
4. Tunneling sucks (unfortunately I can't seem to stop)
Over the past couple of weeks, an absurd number of accounts (~15%) have had IP conflicts or issues of some sort. This slows down the queue tremendously and ruins the fun for everyone, because I work two jobs and it takes me a lot of time and energy to chase after all of them. I know most of those were accidents and not the fault of the users trying to play Mafia in good faith. However, some helpful guidelines to reduce problems in the future:
1) Experienced players are not allowed to join the newbie queue and impersonate new players under alt accounts. If you want to play under an alt, there are plenty of above-ground options: replace into a newbie game, join a Mini instead, gain enough experience under your alt to /in as an SE, etc.
2) You may certainly not attempt to join a game with yourself or with any accounts to which you have the password. This is cheating, and will get you banned.
3) Hydras are not permitted in the newbie queue. This includes any account to which multiple people have the password.
4) Please tell the truth to the best of your ability when I'm trying to investigate an IP conflict. I'm much more forgiving of a misunderstanding of the rules than a willful attempt to deceive me.
5) If you are a newbie and know another poster shares your Internet connection, I would appreciate a warning PM in advance, because it'd save us both time.
6) /inning for the queue with a proxy, aside from arousing my hyperactive paranoia, often leads to IP conflicts with other people using the same proxy, so I would avoid using one to join a game.
I need a Newbie replacement for BrasilianAnjel 86/sheila_sazs in Newbie 1637 (Day 1, 3 pages). While it is technically a fresh slot, the game has been running for long enough that a voluntary replacement is more appropriate. So, anyone not already in his/her first game may PM me to request this slot!
