I just played a solo queue ranked match where we got all 5 players on curse voice and everyone was a good guy, no one was annoying, and everyone played together well. It was amazing. I was sad it ended.
Also played against a guy with 157 ranked Tahm Kench games: http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=ArmoredRogue.-

But is stomped by Fiora and Darius (two of the some of the most frequent top laners atm in solo q). I would also contend that Wukong top isn't really played atm so idk why he's a top pic, and Singed's matchup against Riven and Irelia probably isn't as good as you think, since Singed gets stomped in early game by champions with ridiculously high kill pressure, which is why Darius and Fiora can shit on him. I've played a lot of Singed and he seem to be best against tanks like Gnar, Shen, and Maokai since they can't easily kill him, allowing Singed to transition nicely out of his weak early game. His matchup against Trynd is good, Garen is decent, and GP depends on if you can dodge casks and survive his burst. Nonetheless, if he gets out of Early Game and gets decent farm and items, Singed can do well even in todays meta imo.a sad fuck- Venmar

You almost always get your pick, and if you know how to play all the matchups, you just straight up win the game a decent amount of the time unless the other two lanes are way behind.

I dropped to ~silver iii about a month ago playing weird things. I have gotten up back to plat v from silver iii within the past 5 days playing almost exclusively Karthus.
You just need to know the matchups and make sure your opponent doesn't know your matchup too well (ex I know the Karthus - Ahri matchup like the back of my hand, but I'm certain a huge amount of the Ahri's rarely ever face a Karthus).vezokpiraka: If you are playing on EUNE we can duo.

Oh I like to first pick Karthus a lot.
I usually hope for a challenge at whatever the enemy can throw at me.vezokpiraka: If you are playing on EUNE we can duo.

I should probably invest in learning Ashe/Xerath/Vlad matchups, then. Beyond the obvious "don't pick Vlad into Darius" one. Learned that the hard way.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;

nowadays it's better to take Vlad mid and only flex top if you know it's a good matchup; top has most of vlads bad matchups (j4, rengar) or shares them with mid (cho, fizz). Whereas mid is full of shit vlad does well against."Don’t buy a dozen eggs if you just want a hardboiled egg. Don’t buy a head of lettuce if you just want a salad. As heimer, I tend to lane very well with only a few exceptions, even against counterpicks. It's just very hard for most champions to stop me when I'm pushing hard. But later in the game things get more difficult and I have to rely on teammates to make the plays. That seems sort of inevitable as heimerdinger; he's too immobile to get an ace, after all. But I think I need to learn a lot more so that I'm more helpful in teamfights; I've only just now started using my ult-e in appropriate situations.
I tried rylai's crystal scepter with donger in a recent normal, and it seemed to help quite a bit with peel, chasing, and extending damage from my turrets. But unfortunately my damage still seemed too low to punish Garen in lategame for coming into the range of my turrets. It could be because Garen is still OP but maybe neglecting AP and MP just wasn't a good idea in that match. (Especially since there was also a Yi...).as gregor samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed- Venmar

Heimer is one of the best laners in the game, but like you admit, he has a poor performance in late game in comparison to other champs because a lot of his potential damage output comes out of setting up a turret nest, which you just don't have the time to setup a lot of the time, or is poked down by poke comps. You'll probably do best if you can force defensive fights at your turrets or at drag/baron, when you can set up turrets and then mow down the enemy team.a sad fuck- Voidedmafia

Well, I'm not against putting Vlad mid, it's just that I already have that down with Xerath/Viktor/probly TF or Malz. I guess if top is bad for Vlad I'll just go, like, Malphite or Diana.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;
