Netherspite has indicated that this game may be a bastard game, which is defined as a game that meets at least one of the following conditions: cults, mid-game alignment changes, moderator lies that cannot be reasonably anticipated (e.g., godfather, tailor, miller, ninja, and similar mechanics are considered reasonable anticipations; telling someone they are a reflexive doctor when they're actually a paranoid gun owner is not), secret win conditions, un-divulged non-randomness in player role/alignment generation, or direct moderator influence during the game.

This game is based on SC2 Mafia rules adapted to the forum mafia. The game is Semi-Open which means all the possible roles and their role PMs will be listed in the first game posts. Additionally, there will be the list of the slots with role groups associated with them.

The setup was tested in this July Marathon in several games:

Bastard elements in the game:

1. There may be Cults in the setup. However, in this case there also will be Masons for the balance reasons.
2. There may be other bastard roles in the setup (full list of the possible roles may be viewed in the links above)
3. There may be mid-game alignment changes.
4. There may be moderator lies that are clearly described in the list of the role PMs.

This type of games is not common for MS but it certainly will be fun as the Marathon shown

There are special sign-up mechanics in place for Haschel Cedricson's game such that players can sign-up in pairs with a partner. In order to be counted as a pair,

Now in sign-ups, Haschel Cedricson presents Legends of the Hidden Temple II!

This will be a nightless game consisting of 8 townies trying to retrieve the treasure from the Hidden Temple and the 4 Temple Guards trying to stop them.

Teams!

Every player in the game, regardless of alignment, is assigned a teammate. You can talk to your teammate privately at any time!

Challenges!

In a normal game, anybody can be lynched at any given time. Not in this game! If you want to lynch somebody, you're going to have to issue a challenge to their team! Once that happens, the pool of players that can be lynched is reduced to the team that was challenged AND the team that issued the challenge. Only one challenge may be issued each day, and they are non-retractable!

I want teammates to utilize the daytalking as much as possible, so I'm going to let you choose who you are partnered with! Any /pre-ins must include the name of another player you want to be your partner, and you won't be added to the playerlist until BOTH of you sign up. Remember, though, even though you will be teammates, you are NOT guaranteed to share alignment!

To sign up, both you AND your partner need to post in here listing both your partner and preferred team name. Team names will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Here are the six possible teamnames:
