I engaged with him and answered his questions because I thought he was actually trying to read me/respond to the initial reasons why I was scum reading him. He looked like he was trying to get to the bottom of something so I let him.

But he has cut off this engagement and resorted once again to saying "fuck this game" and relying on AtE. His questioning of me was just used as another platform to play up his role as frustrated townie and people are going to buy it again.

Scum have no incentive to push wagons, they only have to manage how liberal they are with their votes. If we saw wagons spring up everywhere, sure, you could say something like that. But here everything is restrained, I think town is simply too splintered, scum's just watching.

I dunno, I feel his frustration is genuine and like, to pull it off with such sincerity as scum seems like quite the feat that I'm not sure I could even employ. The whole feeling of "I'm screaming into the abyss and nothing is listening" and tunneling in on one true, honest-to-god scumread is a place I've been before and I can empathize with him.
